Yes....it skipped over all the smoke to me personally and Gilbert arenas podcast which isbt consistent and interviewing simply NBA or WNBA players. I dont want a fat joe, social justice or jadakiss interview on a basketball podcast.. I started watching JJ Reddick but it was all over the place..

Q is a true student of the game. To see Juwan make it to coach from playing outside South Quad or hangin at the sandwich shop on State st. Is dope. FYI Jalen wore a black pinstripe suit (draft suit) at the team dinner as a freshman. He came long way too!

Always love Juwan Howard . Great interview. Always a class act . Marcus Liberty was a beast in high school . I remember actually watching him at 6 or 7 years old , in state finals against East St . Louis . I literally saw him score all of King’s baskets . He was a beast .

I really want a reunion with the clips. They was a 1/2 episode or one offs ... But LO, Brand , CMag ... Kandi man, Boykins, McInnis heck get Piatowski and Dooling , Jaric , Wilcox ... I want to see how others remember those years. I remember in LA at that time at the staples. It was definitely a show , and cheaper than the lakers 🤣

I’m so glad people are beginning to see that this podcast is the best basketball podcast in terms of interviewing players. I tried listening to All the Smoke and that quickly felt impersonal and became political. I like listening to JJ’s and Duncan’s podcast from time to time but they mostly interview current players. I’ve always enjoyed these podcasts because you know what you’re always going to get and they always have a fun time.

Man I remember my cousin that lived in Bolingbrook outside of Chicago and when he came home to Michigan, he bought a vhs highlight of Marcus Liberty with the House song “Like This” playing in the background. I debo him for that VHS but when we went there, I gave it back. Man, that dude was special indeed.

When J Howard slapped the assistant coach from Wisconsin, that was the Chicago coming out of him and the crazy thing about it was the day Wisconsin retired Michael Finley jersey. They showed a shot of him in the crowd and he cracked a grin like “THATS Chicago” there 😂😂😂😂😂😂

What's crazy is listening to J. Howard talk about Q and D.Miles putting in all that work in the offseason to get better and they still was just average (no hating or shad because at least they made it to the league). That just shows how hard the NBA is and how much talent was in the league. You can have all the determination and all the work ethic but without that God-given Talent to mix it with, you only get so far in the league. Marcus was a second round draft pick. I don't think his coach in Denver is the reason he had the career he had.

And you are also correct it's not all about the coach not liking him messing up his career his agent played a part also. And I seen a interview where Chris Jackson explained how things were on that Denver nuggets team at the time. Plenty second round picks have had great or at least decent careers

I will never forget the time Nookie and I were on Drew school basketball court playing a 21 and he was so y’all that he was snatching all the rebounds and dominating because of his height and I used to be the one that was all over the boards and that day he showed out on me and we had words and I he told me that he was going to the NBA, I told him that he wasn’t going anywhere and obviously he made me eat my words.Shouts out to you Nookie I solute your achievements and your career even though we didn’t see eye to eye growing up.

17:05 I remember Jimmy Collins. I attended UIC in the early 2000's. I used to see Jimmie Collins in the underground food court. He nicknamed one of his players, he used to call him Little Sabonnis or Baby Sabonnis. I used to see Cedric Banks and The Bailey Brother, Martell I think in the food court.
