I mean, Trazyn predates the British museum by over 65 million years. Yeah, he can sue.

Technically we stole that idea from the French, they must have been the ones to copy Trazyn. That's actually correct in the British museums case, the Egypt collection was first stolen when Napoleon invaded Egypt.

eeeh, it's a bit more complicated. let's sum it up for those who don't know about it. In the lore, Eru (also known as the God god) originately shaped the world, from music, as a thing that roughly looked like a boomerang on a pizza. But then tomfoolery ensued, he was forcefully woken up from his eternal nap, twice actually, and went on to think : "What if The Ball". And so he made the world off of half the remaining continent, added somemore land that doesn't get any screen time and doesn't appear on the map for most of it, made all of that a perfect sphere, and created an elf-accessed wormhole in the sea towards heaven, which is still flat but now located in the ninth dimension.

The idea of Rogue Traders and the Ad Mechanicum were clearly stolen by Asimov for his Foundation series. In the chapters where the foundation sets up a cargo cult tech religion to make other space colonies loyal to them, and then later there’s a chapter where they have these traders or merchants sanctioned to trade foundation technology outside the foundation as a way of exerting economic control, but also gaining intelligence.

Technically Moorcocks Chaos is not that related to 40k Chaos. Its the D&D redesign of the compass rose used for the EC chaos (adding the crooked ring or smaller arrows for non-cardinal directions depending on which book you look they had to reprint due to cucked publishers despite Moorcock himself saying he is ok with EC content being featured) and the demons Balor (clearly 100% not balrog), Vrock (whose redesign 100% wasnt based on the Dark Crystal with Nagpa being a bit of a flop), Hezrou with leg replacements from a sitting herbivore dino or ork (or tomb trapper with orc/zombie head and/or Nelfanshee parts depending on which of the 3 old designs you look at) and Glabrezu that obviously TSR stole from GW with time travel.

@vdate
@vdate 4 ай бұрын
Look. LOOK. Working out the time-bandit thread of responsibility for the whole Char thing is a cluaterfuck of legendary proportions - consider that after having stolen Farsight to make Char, future versions of themselves proceeded to go back and steal the concept from their past selves. (And don't fet me started on the whole Prince Heinel thing showing some signs of even earlier heists triggering that one.) My point is, tracing THAT chain of achronoacquisitive causality would make the timeline look like the Hapsburg family tree, and down that road madness lies.

I hate to admit it, as a huge fan of Battletech, but mech piloting feudal nobility with only a loose understanding of their technology dependent on a religious technocult to maintain critical infrastructure of their warmaking is awfully similar to the Imperial Knights. Literally in the same space of tabletop wargaming too. Perhaps this time based perfidy is why they can be so much cheaper with their models and keep their rules so much more stable over time? But this does expose a weakness in the time bandit conspiracy. After all, these time bandits steal from each other! For example, the "author" of A Canticle for Leibowitz, obviously ripped off Comstar, who were clearly ripped off of the Adeptus Mechanicus.
@DiggingForFacts

They really just looked at the concept of the Imperial Knight and then glanced over at the asses of a bunch of broadsides and riptides and some 30K tanks and then took that back to the 80's. They even had the gall to give some of their homework to Japan to copy for Dougram and Crusher Joe. They could have done a good hommage at least and give the black knight not just the head but also the pauldrons...

This is clearly the work of Trazyn the Infinite and Warhammer 40k is just him showing off his collection. Also, you forgot Obi-Wan Sherlock Clusoe. Clearly three different writers conspired to name their characters after GW's character.

"Mad Donna" Ulanti. Madonnas parents went back in time, compressed the name a bit and brainwashed their child into having a thing for cone bras.
