I’m a virgin but my gf is not. I’ve been saving my virginity for my future eternal partner but i ended up with a woman who did not do the same. Whenever I remember, I get feelings of disgust and I immediately will start getting waves of negative feelings towards her past. I try and succeed at removing the thoughts but the feelings don’t go away. I care for who she is now but regardless I can’t shake off the feelings whenever I remember. She’s a very caring and truly a wonderful person in every other way but I’ve been watching some videos about the Bible warning men of adulterous women(even if it’s no longer happening…as in: if a person that no longer kills but once did is still a murderer). My logical part understands that there’s nothing to do about the past but my emotional side understands that a woman who has slept with others before her marriage significantly increases chances of the relationship not working out or ending in divorce. Their pair-bonding capability also significantly decreases after multiple sexual partners. I just don’t wanna be the dork who marries a “wh*re.” Am I settling for less or settling for less than God wants? Are my feelings a warning from God? Anyone have been through something similar? And if so how did you deal with it? Thank you.
