My gifted mentor, you are simply too talented to imagine! I have made several travelers notebooks over the years and not once did I think to change the spine. I love your notebook and I love you. Please keep making all of us better crafters.

I have never heard of a travelers notebook. It’s beautiful, and I’m sure yours are, too. Of course, I can imagine taking notes and writing itineraries, saving tickets in pockets, etc. Is that the idea? Edit: I just saw in the comments a couple of mentions of “signatures” in relation to a travelers notebook. Hmmm…Now I’m really curious.

A year or so later, this is so perfect! My daughter has literally left for the airport for her three week honeymoon to China/Vietnam, etc. She knows sheʼs getting one, but with the holidays and a fall I had, it didn’t get done. She will be saving for her journal, and this is terrific.

Wow! I am soooooo doing a few of these. Not only for travel journals, but I'm thinking that I can use these for crafting journals, such as my quilts. I can note materials used in each quilt- fabric, thread, buttons, etc. I can stick a little of each fabric in pockets, make notes as I go along, lessons learned, short cuts for assembling, etc! Also, I think these journals could be made for new parents to jot down those special times with a newborn that usually dont make it to the big baby book. You could use one for each year of the child's young life to remember those cute, funny moments and sayings the little ones say. Favorite toys, doll's names, etc. Just a line or two a day... I wish I'd done this for my child (now 31). I might go back and jot down some things I do remember, just to have them down. Thank you so much for this great, easy, and versatile projects! You are very special!😘

Great job, Sherry! What a beautiful TN! I'm a bit of a traditionalist with TN's so probably won't be attempting this. (I think it was my views of journaling videos that got one of yours onto my recommended video list/how I found your channel.) TN's are very popular, though, and I really do believe that this would sell like hotcakes at a craft fair! You've done an amazing job at winging it and have provided a valuable service to those who wanted this video! One of the things people like about TN's is that they are so customizable. So this project would be the height of customization for anyone wanting to make their own! 😊
