@franz909 : This particular album and single came out in 1993 at the zenith of the grunge/post-grunge take-over of the Mainstream. The girl-pop and boy-band backlash was another five years off. We had to go thru nü-metal and mid-'90s rap-rock (Godsmack, Korn, Limp Bizkit, et. al.), first

I remember I met one or two of these guys when I was just barely 16, maybe 15 still. They were playing at the university and me and my friends were hesitantly allowed to go. We were just giddy, giggly girls, not attracted to men yet, and just got a glimpse at the disparity between us kids and the older rock n' rollers. Like a brush with danger, exciting, but yet scary, we were unsure why they reacted how they did to us asking for an autograph: oddly, first irritation, then friendliness, and restraint. I guess they were concealing something not suitable for children. Don't think they were expecting kids in the hall. Thought about that on and off for many years after. Just an anecdote. A hazy memory. A slice of life... I still like the song.
