The Oden wolf knife is called a harpoon style blade just a FYI One I'd recommend is the Mtech 151 it's still around $25 My favorite most used Hultafor OK4 is $22 on Amazon. Both knives I've abused and are with me everytime I go in the woods. I'm a firm believer in gear shouldn't be so expensive your afraid to use it. Going outside should be fun. It's said how marketing has people convinced they need expensive gear to go outdoors and camp. One last thing BPS adventurer great knife sharpest knife I've ever bought. My one problem isn't the knife it's I'm lefthanded and the sheath is right hand carry. Great video love the chest rig.

I have both of those knives and they are both great. However, I also have the Odin wolf w model and I like it better than that model. You should check it out. And two other really great knives I got for under $50 is the Ned Foss hyenas and the Swiss Tech Kraftig. All really good knives for reasonable price. Have had no failures or problems with any of them yet. However the oknives are too expensive for what they are. For around the same cost you can get a gorilla survival brand knife and they are far better than Oknives in my opinion

I feel like... well just about anything....generally... you get what you pay for.... both look interesting... tho I know it's a little thicker... the strongarm from Gerber is a fantastic all around knife... and the ka bar Becker bk 9 harpoon is another great fixed blade for the price!!!

Interesting but I don't like the shape of the blades. Not straight enough and has too much curve on the end. Not the best for batoning and I agree the trip seems very very thin.

Joe X destroyed Mora Kansbol with ease. Incredibly enough, the more cheaper Companion & Robust survived his tests. I don't know about the Ambul knife.

I feel like we should be choosing knives by philosophy of use I like both of these but I only bought one of them and that’s the fortitude I prefer the d2 and since it’s made by kizer I trust the heat treat d2 is also semi stainless so is not going to be a rust magnet and I prefer the thinner tip and edge after all it’s for cutting and truthfully I just like the look
