Vampire: the Masquerade - How to play a Brujah

Do not go gentle into that good night,

If you're new to Vampire: the Masquerade, or are looking for further inspiration on how to play a Brujah, hopefully this video will provide what you're looking for.
The Brujah may be outsiders like the Nosferatu, but that's where the similarities end. No other kindred burn as passionately, and impotently, as the Rabble. If there is a cause, they will throw themselves into it, heart and soul, until it becomes too common or the flicker dies, at which point they will look for another reason to risk their unlives.
The Brujah are great leaders and rolemodels, impressive figureheads and inspirations, but they are also bullheaded and unbending; unwilling to compromise their ideals for what others would call the greater good. In a sense, they are the flip side of the Ventrue, leading from the front rather than managing from the back.
In this video we will look at some of the common phenomena of Brujah unlife, discuss their relationship with other clans, and of course take a look at how their Disciplines may help them survive the World of Darkness.
This video focuses on being a Brujah in the Camarilla, meaning it does not discuss the Sabbat or Anarchs.

I played an 8th Gen Brujah Idealist Elder in a Camarilla LARP that lasted about 5 years. I started as Primogen of my Clan and initiated a Praxis Seizure and became Prince. I was later assassinated by a Tremere/Assamite/Setite Alliance to put a Tremere on the Throne.

Well I the Sabbat are view themselves as superior to the humans in which all vampires need to survive, so I would disagree with them on some fundamental points

You know the brujah are probably the most tragic kindred of the dammed of caine. Sure the salubri literally got betrayed by nearly every clan because they were too nice and the toreadors are the best at feigning humanity,yet the brujahs greatest strength and weakness is simply that they are the most human of vampires. Even elder and Methuselah brujah,those ancient rebels who survived centurys still have the same passion all of them have. Yet there in lies there issue. Much like the garou,the brujah are vampires of passion. Sure there are some rebels who have there head on straight such as nines for instance,yet such prometheans are few and far between. After all,troiles usurped childer are cursed by the rage that drove his own fall from grace,as it was troile who taught samiel,founder of the salubri warrior caste to harness his fury and will. It does make one wonder though. How terrifying it would be for the brujah to unite and rise from there fall from grace. Thats a terrifying thought isnt it?

Pre V5 I would have said Camarilla any day, but I REALLY like what they’ve done with the Anarchs in V5 so this is super hard to answer. I like adversity so I think I would go Cam because being hated or mistrusted by everyone else is a really fun and honestly interesting angle to roleplay in.

What's the difference between brujah and true brujah? I know that the first and real brujah antediluvian was killed by another vampire to raise his generation to 3rd, but the Temporis discipline that true brujah has seem connected to paradox and time alteration that mages do. I want to know if true brujah antediluvian was once a mage that turn into vampire or the Temporis discipline which controls time is another discipline that Caine has. Whether true brujah extinct or not the difference between them are ambiguous for me because time manipulation seem to be a big deal in World of Darkness.

The big difference, besides those you've already listed is their clan curse. True Brujah are cold, unfeeling and calculating while Brujah are... Brujah, you get what I'm saying.

Temporis is not mentioned in the book of Nod, so it's likely Ilyes created the discipline himself as an expansion of Celerity. Apparently Troile either didn't learn it or didn't care for it. True Brujah are few in number and resent the Brujah for usurping them as the main clan. Some want to while the Brujah out while others don't care anymore. Lore of the Bloodlines has more info on them.

I think much like any clan they are as interesting as you play them. Activist is just one type. They can also be scholars, teachers, they just have a lot of passion and it's easy to point that passion at Society's many ills.

Adding to the previous answers: They weren't born as the clan of activist types. This is a relatively modern development. Back then the Brujah were a clan of lordly warrior-scholars and quite respected for it, being one of the "High Clans" in the medieval period; check out "Dark Ages: Vampire".

I want to play a brujah and I've got two bribes I stole. One it fits for a hacktivist. two My plan is a religious fanatic who's against the man. You could also go thug (bonus option). There's plenty of directions but personally I;m just going for the not quite activist options because I like the idea. You could also go lawyer.
