I like to see The Brujah as the fighters of The True Brujah and The True Brujah bad ass fighters in their own right who guide the regular Brujah. I know my view will not be agreed with by all but then again it's my view.

I’ve played in a chronicle for 8 years that’s finally coming to an end and the main antagonist is a True Brujah methuselah who has basically rebuilt Carthage in modern-day San Francisco.

(Long comment, so forgive me) Ah, the True Brujah. An underrated and often overlooked clan, which so happens to be one of my favorites. You see, all kindred, over time, grow distant with their humanity and the species of kine they once were apart of. Whether it be by the very nature of the clan's blood they carry, or the passage of time, they begin to see themselves either beyond or separate from humanity. The Nosferatu and Malkavians are probably the ones who experience this change most immediately. The Nos wear the curse of Cain in their very flesh, a constant reminder of their now inhuman nature. The Malks experience a change in the mind, they are no longer sane and mentally no longer resemble the bulk of humanity or even themselves depending on the severity of their curse. The Toreador, for all of their social posturing and talk of art and beauty, suffer like the rest of kindred. They are constantly seeking to be inspired and enthralled by art, yet when that beautiful thing is no longer new they throw it away in search for something else to sate their desire. This attitude extends to people as well as their own childer. The Tremere, upon awaking from their most likely unconsented embrace, are forced to be blood bound. In a sense, the Tremere are born slaves to their elders. The Gangrel, upon losing control to their beast, even for a moment, will wear their curse either in body or mind. Over time this may push a Gangrel to fully embrace their animalistic nature. The Ventrue, even with all their wealth and pride, are kindred all the same and over time, will be same as every other kindred. The True Brujah, like the Malkavians, as soon as they are embraced are mentally changed. They are cold, passionless, and seem to have little emotion. From their very embrace they immediately are separated from humanity. All the things that they held dear seem not to matter anymore. If you fail to feel almost all emotion, what's to stop your descent into becoming a wight? If you have the ability to commit unspeakable acts of evil without so much as an iota of guilt, what's to stop you? The answer? Their mind. The True Brujah are a clan of intellectuals, philosophers, and the capable. They don't go out of their way to be kind or cruel and won't cry over a little spilled blood. They can easily be some of the most brilliant, rational, and strong willed individuals you'll ever meet. The bending of time is also a rather strange and fascinating ability. Personally speaking, I'd rather be a camarilla true brujah or independent. Why should I work toward the downfall of the brujah? The sins of their elders are not their own. I would differ philosophically from my elders. Eventually, I'd probably embrace a path of enlightenment.

@@LoreByNightVtM Thank you. I discovered my love for the True Brujah when I made a one whose concept I absolutely loved but unfortunately never have had the opportunity to play. His name was Arthur Kovacs, a prodigy pursing a PhD in engineering. As a part of his course he was required to assist or teach a class. He ended up teaching some night class where he met his sire, Ms. Adler. She seemed to be a woman of Greek origin yet pale complexion. Arthur was fascinated with this woman. She was a reserved genius who seemed to breeze through the class, almost without effort. Over the course of the school year, Arthur and Ms. Adler grew closer to one another as they would often meet after class to speak with one another. They debated and exchanged ideas about many things ranging from linguistics and engineering to philosophy and ethics. Arthur had nothing but respect for her. Then one night while on break, she came to his apartment. Not particularly unusual as she had been there before to continue their nightly discussions. However something was off. She began their conversation by asking the question "If given the opportunity to become immortal, would you take it?". After speaking for almost the entire night Arthur ended up saying yes, and thus he was embraced. My plan was that, since I took the "Victim of the Masquerade" flaw, Arthur would not believe his affliction was of a supernatural nature. No, instead he would seek to observe, document, and eventually cure his supposed "vampirism". (I took a little inspiration from Alistair Grout and the Mandarin from VTMB) I could go on about his stats and embellish on how I wanted to roleplay him but I will digress.

Great video! Easily the most frightening clan out there imo. A clan of unfeeling, millennia old, time travelling master manipulators. So elusive, they barely even exist in legend. Undoubtedly, the knowledge that such a clan exists could reduce any vampire into a paranoid mess.

Brujah the most fascinating Clan I despise Ancient Brujah were Philosophers, Scholars, revolutionaries with noble goal of creating Utopia for Kindred and Kine while modern Brujah are childish Hobo rebel thugs with anger issues who don't even understand what they are fighting for or against such a fall is tragic I admire their historic influence over Kindred world but despise who they became On a side note I am curious about what happens if Brujah diablerizes True Brujah or vise versa what will happen to their curse? Will Tru Brujah start feeling again or will Brujah's anger subside? Most curious

Regarding curses, mechanically speaking, there is nothing in rules that say that. However, that is a very interesting idea one can implement in your games.

So theoretically could a true Brujah time jump between feedings, eating someone ( or diablrieizing) to completion then going back to a point/time line and choose not to eat them while sustianing their own continuity? Or even eat different versions of the same person/kindred over and over, across timelines, similar to the Loki show?
