It's not like that..since india is a. Hindu majority country by default no party would go against the majority interest and by default every party will directly stake in sharing their votes.in contrast to that,all of the parties of India can afford to abandon Muslims and their voting interest since they are nationally minority.that is why if any party tries to gain Muslim votes it's through taking on secular identity i.e. balancing Hindu and Muslim (majority and minorty interst). My point is not to say that Muslim intrest (read communal/non secular)party does not exist (hey do example AIMIM,Indian union Muslim league etc)but they are. Only active at state level and cannot survive in indian politics alone. Therefore sg is right, generally any party that vouches for minorities vote at national level are secular party.same cannot be said for hindu majority votes
