That is very much the Swastika. The real Swastika is the Hindu Swastika. The Nazi Swastika was actually called Hakkencruz (Hooked Cross) by the Nazis and Hitler in German. They didn't use the term Swastika. When a Christian missionary translated Hitler's Mein Kampf, he replaced Hakkencruz with Swastika. As for the movie, the director is trying to create a controversy. So, yeah in the movie scene he is using Nazi aesthetic garbed as Hindu symbolism to catch the eye of international audience.

Hey, EXTREMELY IMPORTANT CORRECTION- The symbol at 2.39 IS THE SWASTIKA, you are confusing it with Hitler's HOOKED CROSS OR HAKENKREUZ. It is a common misconception that Hitler used the Swastika symbol. But Hitler himself never used the word "Swastika" to refer to his symbol. He called it “Hooked Cross”(“Haken Kreuz”). Hitler first saw the Hooked Cross symbol in a Christian monastery (Lambach Abbey) which he attended as a boy. He later adopted it as an emblem for his party. Hooked Cross had been a sacred symbol of Christianity since its inception in ancient days and it is very natural to find Hooked Cross symbol in old churches and chapels. On the other hand, the symbol of SWASTIKA is a holy sign in Hinduism that implies something fortunate, lucky or auspicious and it denotes auspiciousness or well-being. How did the swastika become a Nazi symbol? Heinrich Schliemann's discovery of Troy in the 1870s set in motion the events that transformed the swastika, a symbol of fortune and hope for thousands of years, into a hated and feared sign of fascism. The word Hooked Cross was conveniently translated as Swastika. When Hitler became extremely unpopular, the Evangelist lobby associated the Hooked Cross with Swastika to hide the fact that Nazism originated in Christian Socialism. In his excellent research citing many examples of leading Nazis, Professor Richard Steigmann of Kent State unity proves that Nazism originated in a Christian frame of reference and understood their movement as a Christian movement. As he shows, Church Historians retrospectively tried to portray Nazism as a non-Christian moment and undermined the Christian roots of its antisemitism. Also, the Aryan Invasion Theory has been discarded decades ago by every scholar worth his/her weight in salt based on numerous archeological, linguistic, genetic evidences. Nazi fascination with the so-called pseudoscientific 'Master Race' is well known. Also well known are the pseudoscientific race discourses present in Europe at that time. The fact that Swastika was a symbol of good luck, auspiciousness, well being across the world & Europe is well known.
