As a dual UK/Aussie citizen I find myself reverting to the Australian accent whenever I meet or speak to my Australian mates. And here in London, there are so many Australians that the accent has become part of the language landscape. I think it's rather flattering when Bill naturally takes on the accent. As for our Government, Liz Truss has been in power for five minutes and we're even more stuffed - not looking good but what do you expect from a woman named after a gentleman's support garment :-)

My most favourite comedian.......he's ultra talented, super intelligent, and never resorts to foul language or weird, offensive perversity for a laugh, which (in my opinion) many mediocre comedians do. This will be the 3rd show of his I am privileged to see......I love that he comes to Canberra, as many performers stick to the big cities in Oz and don't bother to come here

My old ex neighbour since I have moved now well he bloody loves this show. Bill Bailey is a legend of course. Very funny and entertaining. He is also on an Australian and New Zealand show or was. Can't recall the name of it now but I think you may find it on channel 2 possibly ? The ABC if I am right. A comedy panel show. Competition between Australia and New Zealand with some local comedians. He hosts the show. You can tell I watch way to much tv. I saw it one night oh months ago damn it........

I've worked with and employed dozens of Aussies when your kids used to travel the world , great attitudes , every one of them . Still got two League teams and a Maroons shirt .
