In this episode, we explore the abandoned Sino Wonderland theme park in Huainan, China. We encountered surveillance drones and security with dogs which seemed to be pretty common in China.

Wonderland was a never completed amusement park project located in Chenzhuang Village, Nankou Town , Changping District, China, about 32 kilometres (20 mi) outside of Beijing. Originally proposed by the Thailand-based property developer Reignwood Group, and designed to be the largest amusement park in Asia (to have covered 120 acres (49 ha)), construction stopped in 1998 following financial problems with local officials, while a 2008 attempt to start construction again also failed. In wiki, it is said that this is demolished in 2013... If it is opened, it would have been a largest amusement park in Asia ..

All land in China is publicly owned, so "trespassing" isn't really a thing. The security guards are more likely to ask for a picture with you than they are to kick you out. Also all Chinese theme parks seem to have a random assortment of themes that don't really mesh. Happy Valley Beijing is Greek/Candy Land/ Aztec/ SeaWorld/ Tibetan themed.

Terence Ankeny well compared to the knock-off American style rides that fill the rest of the park the “Asian Area” is almost comically Asian themed as that style of architecture is very outdated and only really prominent to Asian history. So it’s definitely very “Asian”
