ASUS ROG Gladius III vs ROG Chakram Core - awesome large gaming mice

I purchased the ASUS ROG Chakram Wireless version. Unfortunately, I couldn't get used to the mouse. "As a result of the joystick being too far forward, and was unable to make any use of it. Not to mention how unnatural it felt compared to a real analogue stick, which would have been a better fit. They should have made it adjustable with a slider mechanism for moving forward or back. And then locking it in place similar to what corsair did with their Scimitar RGB Elite. Other than that, I loved the RGB, as with the overall design of the mouse but would appreciate it. If Asus would make a smaller version with everything I mentioned fixed and ultra-lightweight at 60 grams, then I'm sold.

I am looking to buy either the Chakram Core or the Gladius 3 Wired at the moment. Coming from a Logitech G502 and a G600 before that and seeing both of them "break" with double click issues (after years of extreme use, to give them credit,) both of these mice seem like great options for longevity. I think I will be going for the Chakram Core for the thumb rest and the additional "buttons" from the stick. Thank you for your review!

I have a annoying bug using Chakram Core analog joystick as custom macro function, it's always crash. I use left and right analog movement to switch next and previous "desktop" (imitating Win + Ctrl + Right/Left). it's weird, it works for 3-4 times, and then it crashes. can you also confirm this?

I realize this is two years late, but im just saying it anyway.... post in the Asus rog forums. There are some great people over there who actually try and imitate the errors you recieve, to come up with a solution. I have recieved tons of help with keyboards, the spatha x, and armoury crate. They also have a discord which could be both easier and quicker to utilize.

If only the joystick wasn't this absurdly far in the front. You need huge hands and palm grip to reach it comfortably. Only NBA players could get away with claw grip on this one. if you can only reach it with your fingertip, it's awkward to use, since the recentering is quite stiff. Normal human beings would want that stick right under the two side buttons. The worst thing about this mouse is that it auto-installes ARMORY CRATE when you plug it in and that software is an absolute cancer and very heavy for something that you require to switch between analog and digital inputs. There is a lightweight alternative to ROG's crapware, but that won't prevent ARMORY CRATE from automatically reinstalling anytime you replug it. Such a shame and failed design.
