There are apparently extra screws included in the accessories box that I missed that are the right length for shallower fans. So it's my oversight there...

Another solution is to get some washers on the screws.

Man... $80 is an INCREDIBLE value for this case, the thermal reviews look so good for it. Honestly, I'd just make little round black stickers to put over the fan stickers, problem solved! lol. Great video as always.

Thanks so much for this video. Sometimes I see videos where youtubers just swap and interchange components and they all fit like magic. Your video captured my experience - have a dream, buy components, nothing fits, get frustrated, jerry-rig everything and hope it works. This is not a reflection on your outstanding skills but on the reality of trying to build a system with parts from different manufacturers.

Teehee. Yeah. Best laid plans and all that. But I actually like failing or having problems because it means I can show people and hopefully they won't make the same mistakes!

I went for a no rgb build,did look at those noctuas but ended up choosing sone be quiet silent wings pro 4 140 pwm fans and they are beautiful.

"If it isn't broken, don't fix it" comes to mind with that boot-up failure. I love tinkering wiith my PCs fans and rgb, but i dread the idea of those kinds of complications.
@TheProvokedPrawnАй бұрын
First time I've had the issue and it's utterly perplexing but I don't have time to work out why it happened. Considering just swapping the mobo fixed it it's obviously the motherboard that's the issue but I can't fathom why.

That sticker thing on the bottom fans ABSOLUTELY would drive me crazy. I'd have to black sticker all the fans, or like... dremmel little slots so I can channel the wire on one of them... or something.

that front rad screws is just made for 28-30mm fans. traditional fans are just 25mm thick. so if you have extra 30mm radiator(normal radiator) screws, you fine. that was never a problem at all

@@TheProvokedPrawn yea i saw somewhere that there should be extras. . . im contimplating to change to the 207 from my current 216, but i saw GN's review that i dont really see any thermal difference. also, i kind of need those 32-35mm screws to push pull my al120v2s haha

I’ve usually run ARGB fans deep blue. Quite stealthy looking though I also have dual 120’s on my peerless stealth. My 207 radiates blue in my office with lights out. On it adds a soft blue glow

The 140 chromax fans are nothing special. The 120s are. From a performance standpoint. Noctua need to step up their cable game for sure. Those 2cm (?) leads are horrible. And the included extension cables are sleeved with that silly rubber that sticks to everything while trying to route them. Glad you had a pretty similar experience as me with them:)
@TheProvokedPrawnАй бұрын
I only got the 140s because the case was meant to take them and then I couldn't fit them haha.

Possibly. The fans didn't come with any
@chrisb8479Ай бұрын
I like your videos, but you just managed to make swapping case fans extremely difficult. When in reality it’s one of the most easiest and most beneficial mods you can do since most cases and aio’s come with fans with poor airflow.
