Since I've found the kpop fandom, can I just say that Miss A and the Pussycat Dolls both have a song called "I don't need a man" and "Hush Hush (Hush Hush)"? I don't know if there are any other similar song titles, but was Miss A based off of them or is it just a coincidence?
@SoniaLawliet8 жыл бұрын
Isabella-Marie Cullen Well, first of all, welcome into the fandom ! ^^ Then, to answer your question, I am not sure but I don't really think they've got inspired by TPD. It could be though but I doubt it. Sorry I can't be of any more help. >-
This song not only has such a great message but the production is really fantastic. The arrangement fits the celebratory and joyous nature of the song

a great message? by telling women they don't need a man? this is why modern women are the way they are. encouraging women to be alone is not a good message, both sexes need each other. we were put on this earth to procreate its how our species survives. we need each other. plus men and women together make a good team.

The message of the song is that they don't need a man in their life to feel happy or be taken care of. There is a difference between being needing and wanting a man. Date a man because you WANT him in your life, not cause you're dependent of him to be complete or financially stable.

This. There's a huuuge difference between wanting and needing a man. 🙌
Well, i don't need a man but i WANT only one man, but can't get him (at least not yet). I don't want anybody else. So this is why i'm here listening to this song, convincing myself that i'm over him. 😂

Well the huge secret to this one is we men definitely want this too, last I checked all these colognes were marked off on "desirability," not finding a "woman you can lead." If we haven't worked on ourselves to where we can perceive our own value beyond male=great_value. It's impossible to try and build off quicksand so having a partner who has self-confidence is actually way better than not, but daunting if you're not there. For example my mom hates banking and the whole experience so she does not do it, my dad's into business, but the both of them have never and will never tell other women especially to not have financial understanding and independence. My mother is a literal genius in genetic engineering and so my dad does all the banking since he enjoys it, and it's a no brainer. Also he has a about six decade long history of abhorrence towards preying on those weaker than you societally, and like religiously backed abhorrence. He took an entire company over to another continent, with all the employees, all legally, since the dude valued being able to pass that company to his kid. All because this dude implied my dad would do the same thing and he was bluffing. There is no such thing as trusting your safety off feelings that's actually madness.

But at 2:07 carmit sings that part entirely by herself, but why nicole played along like it was her singing idk why? I remember watching this video YEARS ago on KZbin (I'm not sure if it's from this channel) and seeing all these men seething with deep-rooted misogynistic anger about their perceived lyrical content from this song.
