People need to stop being horrible to Nicole, every single girl in that group knew it would be this way as the only other singer is melody. Pussycat dolls are a burlesque inspired girl group, those girls are dancers not singers. They knew that when they signed the contract.

+Nyla Bynum well they all individually said that they had their fights just like every other female group / group (in general) in history. It was a business relationship. Nicole did what she was supposed to do which was sing LEAD and the other girls left the group while Nicole was still in the group.
@cbee.968 жыл бұрын
+Nyla Bynum you have no idea with what you're talking about. The other girls SIGNED A CONTRACT agreeing to become back up DANCERS, not singers. What part of that don't you understand ? NICOLE was CHOSEN to be the lead singer and did her job VERY well as the lead singer while the other girls did their job which was to DANCE. Only Melody was the only girl who wanted to be a singer BUT agreed to become a back up dancer because she just wanted to be a part of the group. You see where I'm going with this ? ! It's like having a group presentation which YOU did and other group members try to steal your credit and manipulate the class that THEY did something which they DIDN'T. Nicole deserves all the credit, she deserved it. Understand my analogy ? Nicole wrote and executive produced most of the songs on BOTH albums, why the hell would the other girls deserve any type of credit ? Nicole has NOTHING to do with what happened and should've happened, it was their contract.
@centigradz2centigradz289 Жыл бұрын
My favourite song of all time. Honestly the stupid rivalry between members that the media created was dumb. We missed out on a lot of good albums. Look at Nsync. Every member sang in that group but Justin was the talent and he was the only one that lasted that long. Nicole was the voice and the dancers made the group. Their fans loved them equally. Robin was on top of a gold mine but these girls were separated by the media. Yet when they got solo careers none of them flourished. The others didn't even get an album out. Sometimes a group is a group.

They're are so damn sexy! Honestly. They're sexy but in a classy way. They actually know how to dance and dance WELL. Their choreography is ON POINT and isn't considered raunchy compared to other artists. Some of their lyrics are quite empowering for women actually. In my opinion, even if Nicole was the main focus, they were still a bad ass group because of how talented each of them were. Some say the rest of the girls lacked the vocals but they each were up to par with their unique style and way of dancing.

@@mariecampbell3373 Hold on! Kelly had a lot of successful singles and albums solo. Her label didn't know how to market her though. She should of been marketed like Whitney Houston and Donna Summers were but unfortunately the last 30years they refuse to market a darker skin black woman as a pop artist. She was too versatile for the R & B box they put her in America. Overseas she did a lot of dance and pop singles that were successful around the world that were never released in America because the label thought America wouldn't support her being versatile. Kelly is an excellent performer and vocalist. To be honest without Kelly Destiny's Child wouldn't of went far because her voice was the glue to their harmonies and 2nd lead singer. Nicole just didn't have a strong presence alone and her voice isn't unique alone. That's why songs when Melody got to do the adlibs it took the song to higher level. She was someone meant for a group.

I miss the "old school" groups like these girls, destiny's child, TLC. Now all we're stuck with is groups like one direction, fifth harmony, 5sos that are all based on appearance rather than substance
@miramar9910 жыл бұрын
do you think they aren't based on appearances???
@PurrJJ10 жыл бұрын
Diana Grigorescu Nope, I'm sure appearance played a big role in their success, but you can't deny that they also had talent in comparison to the mainstream groups in music today
@OheyNikkiMae10 жыл бұрын
5sos makes pretty good music, if you listen to their actual album.

I miss when my concern in life was to discuss with my sisters if Nicole's bangs had made her look ugly or not. My 11 years old.
@andrzejchohura44683 жыл бұрын
They low-key did. Let's discuss it
@RoLee7053 жыл бұрын
I liked the bangs! They added a cuteness but something about them looked a bit edgy here. That said, you can see her beauty more without them and they seemed to be maybe slightly too heavy for her face shape(?)
@w.lester2553 жыл бұрын
I remember when these extremely low bangs came into fashion around this time and I did think they looked stupid. Mainly because your hair would be digging into your eyeballs. But I look back on it fondly now and just accept it 😂

@TheTrixster6905 жыл бұрын
@lemon soda ice cream waffles muffins n sh!t I saw it, but it's not Nicole's fault her record label forced her to do it as well as forcing the other girls. The founder of the group forced them to do stuff they didn't want to do. They couldn't speak up because the company threatened them to ruin their career.
