UPDATE COMMENT: Since I got back into doing runs a few years ago I said I'd only upload them after they were 100% done but I'm gonna go back on that. While it worked great short-term it really ate into my motivation and interest in recording after a while. I'm the type of person that wants to provide something I'm legit happy with for people to enjoy, but I also want to ACTUALLY show people the things I've worked on, and hoarding videos for months on end just doesn't make sense to me anymore lol So going forward you can expect the types of uploads you already see from so many other Tales players. When I get a take I'm happy with, I'll upload it. If it's a new run that doesn't make it to the final boss, that's fine. If it's a one-off, that's fine. If I work on multiple runs at the same time, that's fine. It's about time I stop being so hard and strict with myself. Let's finally have some fun on this channel, yeah? Thanks for watching

That is what i do as well, if there is a take/combo i liked, i'll eventually upload it or if its a arc run or whatever, what matters is that you're having fun with what you're doing. Like i do. I enjoy what i do so i just do it. Btw nice bullying session on this boss, it was cool to watch.

The Jude goat is back for more X1! Amazing stuff as always, the Swallow Dance punish for Aqua Laser was super sick and so was all the normals through the fight (like the jump punish!)(also I completely forgot Jude had that kick at 1:23)

Thanks for the kind words! Yeah that kick is a weird one, I don't remember if it exists in X2 but there's one that looks similar to it at the end of his up-normal string in both games if I'm not mistaken.

It was nice to see you stay so aggressive during its attacks, it’s something more unique I enjoy for Xillia 1 solos where every boss isn’t just a combo video. Uptime optimisation is hype!

If someone told me that Vik and Frubam would return to the Xillias on basically the same day, I would've told them that it'd have to be a miracle. But here we are, we are so back and I'm more than here for the return of your Jude. And right off the back, you're off to a great start. You made great use out of the small amount of artes at your disposal, and I even see that your X2 experience is showing itself here with that Swallow Dance sideswap into a backwards air normal at 0:34, you just know I had to point that one out 👀

Some classic Greater Demon abuse, we love to see it. Despite not having access to all artes, your offense felt pretty varied due to your normal attack usage! I didn't even know Jude had some of the normal attacks you showed here lol. I definitely respect doing the run according to the Lilium Orb progression and it's probably something I'm going to do for my next X1 run as well, it looks pretty interesting. I look forward to seeing more content from you (especially of the X1 variety, I love this game).

Glad you liked it! Not sure how hard I wanna limit myself when it comes to Lilium Orb progression between bosses so we'll see what I've got to play around with next time lol I hope to get some more Jude out there pretty soon, hopefully you'll enjoy that too!

The concept of not having a character's full arte list SEEMS a bit restrictive, but I think its promotes versatility over the course of the run by making you think a little more out of the box. Otherwise, you can tend to gravitate towards your "go-to" artes, and not explore others. Especially with Jude and Milla, since they have a lot of artes. I like the use of normals in X1; really reminds me of Remnainsofbattle's Jude, since s/he likes to use a lot of normals. And you use them to good effect here. Unrelated, but I also dislike that 'super fast after Snap Pivot' effect, so its nice to NOT see that for a change =0v.

Exactly yeah, it's actually a lot more liberating than I expected it to be and as you said is a great excuse to explore the full kit (except Sun Spark, because lmao) Ah the Adrenaline Rush skill or whatever? That one can be pretty lame, tho I am looking forward to the skill that lets you Snap Pivot off of a front step, that's gonna be fun
