That last play seems like a toss-up. Davante made it work because he's amazing. And, the throw was excellent. I see why running the jet to Lazard may have been alright. However, the lose probability on that play is much higher with the Lazard "pitch".
@kuhris15174 жыл бұрын
Go watch Aaron's postgame interview for why he threw that 2nd RPO touchdown to Davante, it had nothing to do with wanting his 400th. He will throw it to Davante 100 out of 100 times in that situation where Davante is given 5+ yards of cushion. In fact he talks about the decision making for both of the touchdowns to Davante, why choose to speculate on the reasoning when the info is easily attainable?

@@kaitlynblount7683 Also probably has to do with Lafluer not wanting to have Aaron Jones touch the ball as much. Packers are going to be -17 million in cap space next year, and they have to pay Aaron Jones, Corey Linsley, and Kevin king. They can only pay 2/3 of the guys if they free up cap space. Corey Linsley it automatically gone because we’ve played well without him. There’s only one way they can get Aaron Jones contract cheaper and that’s getting him less touches.
@elijahrios1914 жыл бұрын
That LB comes down into that hole that Jones was going in so I don’t think it wouldve been as easy as he made it sound.Tbh I’m not too big on the packers running the ball on the 1 or 2. It’s been effective sometimes and I don’t want 3 straight passes either I think we should try at least 1 or 2 runs on the goal line but when we run a lot in the red zone it hasn’t worked as well especially with our out of position linemen.

Hey, do you have to change technique when throwing a slippery football, I feel that the ball slips out when I bring it back
@cb316624 жыл бұрын
The biggest thing for me was always making sure my grip started with good placement, but never too tight. Make sure there’s a gap between your palm and the ball, and never squeeze too tightly. Depending more on the placement of your fingers is definitely more consistent than how tightly you have to grip it when you’re in slippery conditions. Just an ex-high school qb, so not quite jt lol, but I hope that helps!
@ZachHenke4 жыл бұрын
Rule of thumb is usually to choke up on the ball in wet conditions. If I know it’s supposed to rain during a game I’ll usually take a bottle of water and a composite football and play catch with the quarterback to get him used to throwing a wet ball. If I can I usually have the center practice snapping them, too.

3:00 ... I dunno man, I'm not seeing much in the way of a clear path to the endzone for Jones there. Maybe he is able to hit that small gap on the left, but Malik Jackson has already shed that block partially, and that was even with him pulling up once he realizes it's a pass. Also, with EQ running the in route on the outside, I'm just not sure that Rodgers trusts him enough to make that catch.

The beginning of the video you are talking about how a run or two different pass play options are touchdowns and how should the back feel about that throw... a few things you didnt mention. The eagles front is their strength of the team. Not running into the teeth of that defense when everyone was expecting them too is smarter then just diving into it.. which also is an area the packers have notoriously struggled with is short yardage runs at the goal line. Lastly I will say, its Aaron Rodgers and DaVante Adam's ..I mean I like my chances 1 on 1 more then a dive play into the teeth of the eagles right there if I have to think about it

Similar to what him and Nelson used to do. I bet we see one of those happen in the next few weeks.

Exactly if he steps forward it would've been a second late and the DB that drops back is already there. The incomplete to mvs he threw it like if mvs is supposed to run flat. I think Rodgers deserves the mvp cus he is wayyy more important to his team than Mahomes is to the Chiefs. You replace Rodgers and Packers are a sub .500 team. Replace Mahomes and they could still be a playoff contender. It was proven last year when Mahomes missed 3-4 games and the offense still produced at a higher than average rate. Also another thing to take into account, the Chiefs have played the 24th weakest schedule this season and are 12-1 and with Mahomes great stats. The Packers have played the 6th strongest schedule this season and are 10-3. If the Packers played an equally easy schedule and their defense and special teams was as good as the Chiefs, I think the Packers would also be easily 12-1, maybe even 13-0. Plus Rodgers stats would prolly be higher because a good defense and special teams means more and better scoring opportunities for the offense every game. However I would rather have Rodgers lead the Packers to a Super Bowl this season rather than mvp cus I believe in the mvp curse. Leading the Packers to a SB is better for Rodgers legacy than another mvp since Rodgers already won 2mvps but only 1SB
