JT really does a great job. You get a better appreciation for the play between Kelsey & Mahomes with his insight. Also watching the all 22 you see WHO didn't go full out & costed the Ravens Defense - 24 Clowney all the talent but seemed a step slow , now I see it was lack of 100% hustle. You see the Chiefs finish plays. Their O Line plays nastier then just about any I've seen - the 2 Guards / Center are studs !

The remark about aggressiveness was spot on, it was probably the them of the game for me. Baltimore came in trying to make a statement while the Chiefs were trying to win a football game. Ironically, the bully got bullied.

This whole game could be summed up as teams that are there every year show you why they are there every year and teams that are not there every year show you why they are not there every year. You could say the same thing about the 49ers-Lions game as well.

He's just in a robber type zone, they were willing to risk the chance of a deep shot to Valdes-Scantling in favour of giving inside help vs Kelce & Rice. Just so happened that Mahomes had the balls/awareness to throw it deep & Valdes-Scantling made the catch this time. Kind of surprised they decided to press the receivers with that look though, if they were off a bit more they might have had a chance

It’s because they had a double on Kelce, and he stays in to chip before releasing on a check down/ leak out It completely negates the double team and takes an extra defender out of the play for free. It was an absolutely perfect playcall to win the game

The sack at 32:20 is actually RTP that wasn't called btw. You aren't allowed to purposely hit below the knees of a QB that has their feet on the ground the way Mahomes does. It's the 'Brady rule' from when he tore his ACL (even though in that game, the defender was blocked into Brady). Mahomes and Co. did a great job maintaining composure despite the Ravens making cheapshots all game (5 personal fouls is more than enough evidence to support the claim they were playing dirty)

The play at 20:08, that's probably just a very conservative playcall by Reid anyways, right? The Ravens are playing the sticks. Maybe the thought process is 'if they mess up, we got a potential TD or a first down' assuming Kelce runs the correct route. Kelce improvising there, funny enough, was a blessing and a curse. Blessing cause you get a 4th and 1 to go for it. Curse because now your coach wanted to go for it, and it didn't work out lol

On that scramble pass to kelce against inverted cover 2, he had a hole shot open had he quickly recognized the post snap safety rotation. He didnt need to scramble around on that play.
@spiderwebb222
@spiderwebb222 6 ай бұрын
Watch it again and watch the safety rotating out of the right side. The only reason the hole shot pops open is because that safety reads Mahomes eyes to the left and sprints out of there. Sure if he somehow got his eyes back around to the right he could throw it (or the flat), but he's running for his life at that point. Nobody has that kind of vision when scrambling.

This whole recent trend of everyone trying to downgrade QBs for targeting their best options, or making the smart play over the risky play, strikes me as inherently dumb. Good QB’s make use of their weapons. Rodgers threw to Nelson, then Adams. Brady threw to Moss and Welker and Gronk and Edelman. Why wouldn’t they?

@@kccryptkeeper4874 By the way, where did you get that information about averaging 8 different receivers having completions a game? I'd like to see how other QBs compare.

How about a video on Lamar pointing out what he did wrong - 6 tipped passes at the line- WTF?? - no in game adjustments by Harbaugh and Monken- Piss poor leadership trickles down to the players - also if you watch the film from end zone view- DEfender pushes Likely away from ball and other DB grabs it- Definite pass interference not called by shitty refereeing

Imagine watching a QB under-throw a TE in triple coverage for a pick and concluding that it was “the shitty refs”.

Lol….Bro, they took 9 points from KC with a called back TD for a cheap hold on Trey Smith & a Ravens leg whip in their own end zone that didn’t get called. Don’t even try to blame the refs. Complaining about refs is weak sauce, even in the best of situations & this isn’t that.

I’m expecting that the 49ers will try to take away 87 and 4 so others have been stepping up in the last 5 games. Patrick Mahomes is the best QB in the NFL because his skill set is unlike any QB in the history of the NFL. He makes throws that no other QB can make or would even attempt to complete. All of the plays that were ran offensively were executed really well, granted Patrick got beat a couple of times. I didn’t like the way Patrick’s legs 🦵 got twisted around when he was sacked it made me nervous 😬 like the D lineman was trying to hurt him.
