Great breakdown! I think this one was the best yet. I really like the way the plays are set up to give the D the same look all the time and then surprise them with different wrinkles. I guess I never thought about All Go as anything other than a speed matchup thing. Neat to see how nuanced it is.

One thing these playbook reviews really provide a window into is how explicitly clear it is to the players running routes when they are just a decoy/clear or are the last progression read, which also helps explain the complaints and dissatisfaction some "diva" receivers display. The average viewer might think "what are they complaining about, they didn't get the ball because they weren't open" when really from the receiver's perspective they may be griping because they know based on the plays that they'll never get the ball on those plays, so they may well have a reason to complain about not being prioritized in the play calling.

I have been binge watching all these X's and O's and have really enjoyed them, especially as a defensive guy. Could you do a video on how you studied film in preparation for a game? How would you guys break down defenses? When you watched film on DB's, what things would you look for and how would you pick which defensive player to pick on or to stay complete away from (i.e. an Aaron Donald). Thanks!

Hey JT. I love the content! X’s and O’s are my favorite for sure. A little audio engineering note: I’m hearing distortion on your voice as well as the overall volume being really hot. Great vid JT ! I was wondering which variant of 4 verts is your favourite/most effective ? And do you think adding a TE in the personnel is a good idea ? (My thinking is that it's kinda strange to have a slower runner (i.e the TE) in a 4 vert formation). Keep up the great work!!
