Actually, I like it when you add actual film to your X & O videos.

I freaking wish things like this were around when I was in high school in the early 2000's. The knowledge that is on youtube for young football players is just insane. REALLY appreciate your work JT. I bet you're changing a kids perspective on the x's and O's almost everyday with theses videos.

As an Englishman and a new fan of the NFL. Plus having never played the game or even seen anyone play the game at any level over here, I have no idea what you're going on about tbh. But still watch all your vids mate.

Enjoy this very much. I’m a little behind on the terminology but when you show the playbook & describe it, then show the real life plays at the end, It ties it together really well. Then the thumbs out, in’s, triangles, make more sense.

We ran 4 jet at USD and to us it was a 7 step under center and 5 step in gun. The Bears run the same play, but they have 3 step in gun and this would be a kill play for them if they got zone pressure.

JT, awesome video, love the Xs & Os series. Niche question, but any thoughts about playing as a QB in the CFL vs the NFL? Wondering how much the fewer downs/all the pre-snap motion/extra man changes things from the quarterback's perspective. Cheers from the UK

Awesome video JT! Love the concept with the triangle read and answers against man. I was wondering about the timing of the play. I see in 9ers playbook it's a 5 step drop with a rail route by the back. Now I may be just talking about things I don't understand yet. But the Rail route takes a while, no? The versions with a corner route also have a 5 step drop. Shouldn't the corner be open significantly earlier than the rail? What I mean is, by the time you hit the 5th step, where is the back on the rail route? My guess is like 5-10 yards downfield. Is that enough to say no to that?

The Lucy concept looks to be based on the leverage of the DB, outside leverage run the slant, inside run the out, press man or the Mike is cheating, move to next progression.

J.T. , what do you think about 12 personal with 2 dominant "F" tight ends who are dynamic in the pass game and good in the run game>? If you have those tight ends and speedy good route running wide receivers on the outside, doesn't that give the O.C. unlimited options? Is it something a NFL team should try to make happen? I'm thinking the Miami Dolphins should try to attain this type of offense for Tua, what do you think?
