Raskasta Joulua is Finnish. It means Heavy Christmas. They're a Finnish band that takes traditional Christmas songs and make rock and metal out of them, inviting guest singers for their Christmastime tours.

She's fantastic as she NAILS O Holy Night in Finnish. One of the hardest languages to learn. She only lived in Finland less than a year before she met Hannes and moved to Sweden. Now she speaks Dutch, Swedish, English and German almost fluently. She can communicate helpfully in Finnish.

In Finland heavy Christmas concert's are a traditional since many many years, started out in small clubs, now in big arenas around Finland. Mostly heavy singers come together and sing Christmas songs heavy style. Floor sang in Finnish O Holy Night, that in Finnish is Oi Joulu Yö which actually mean O Christmas Night. Night in Finnish is yö, short word but very difficult for a non Finn to say :)

This is in Finland. The language is therefore .. Finnish .. which by the way is NOT an Indo European language (English, German, Latin, French, Russian .. are all derived from Indo European) .. instead Finnish is a Uralic language of the Finnic branch

Notice that she is just arriving back from the Nightwish tour, pregnant and she gets more energetic as the concert progresses. Joulua is pronounced something like YULE-loo-ah, to use American English phonetics. Notice the first syllable. I chose that spelling for a reason. It is from whence we get our English word "yule" meaning all things Christmas! Latter half of seven months pregnant... where does she get that infinite lung endurance with all that internal organ crowding going on??!! Amazing. When she calls for Marco at the end, it is probably for their annual duet of Ave Maria.

Well, to be fair, anyone who can sing, can sing in any language. All that is needed is to learn how to pronounce the words. It's nothing but imitating sounds. I've sung at least in eight languages. Does that make me better singer than Floor in any way? No, it does not. Of course, I didn't sound like native speaker of those languages - but neither does Floor. Her accent while singing in Finnish is very thick, and some words are hard to recognize. But that's okay. Her singing skills are out of this world, but being able to sing in other languages isn't really a skill at all.

Of course it's not always perfect,bhow could it be (try listening to Tarja singing in English with such a thick Finnish accent that some words are unintelligible without the English lyrics in front of you). But, yes that is often true in general.

Im not a great fan of Christmas anyway but If its FLoor I will make an exception. This is one concert I would love to go to, Christmas songs or not and even though its probably going to be sung in Finnish as its in Finland and I don't understand the language. Its the only way I can listen to any christmas songs. Thans for the reactions even though its only April :)

@@thequestionqueens well that could send the pistons flying. I prefer chain driven which most modern cars have today as the cambelt which is the other name for it. You have to change it 40,000 to 100,000 miles. Max or risk it snapping. That my dear is an expensive exersize you and your daughter must face. Also my fav brand of car has to be Toyota less maintanence needed cheaper to fix and lasts a lot longer.

Yes Floor was pregnant there from here first child Freya. I saw Floor last night in concert in Tilburg and she pregnant again! But that doesn’t bother Floor, she always likes to perform. And the face of Floor when you paused the video? I saw that a lot last night, that means she is having a great time!
