Ricky, I am not sure if you will get this comment, but how shocked when I saw a photo of your first quilt. My first was exactly the same pattern and some of the same fabric colors. I still have mine and look at it as a reminder of how far I have come.

Genius tip on freezer paper--and everything! I have a silicone brush or pet hair sponge brush because lint roller are meh. But on batting, it does not withstand those tools. Would note that both the silicone brush/pethair sponge keeps cutting board and ironing surface clean. Love the vine effect. A great way to easily add a eye-popping effect. I would likely experiment with perle cotton and Wonderfil Invisifil in the top.

My sqares are large hand embroidered panels with sashing between them. I'd like to use some of the floss from the squares on the border by couching on the sewing machine. Does that sound like it will work?

Hi. Really enjoyed the video and your tips. Next time could you turn off your sound notification every time someone messages you? On our side it sounds like bubbles popping. It's a lot of popping bubble noises. 🙉☺
