She is right. I only buy mild mint. Check out the ingredients of all the bottles when you go to the store. The mild mint is the ONLY one without an ingredient called Glycerin. I dont believe that ingredient belongs on our teeth, but do your own research. It is some sort of sugar alcohol, so Im certain that is why almost all conventional mouthwashes & toothpaste are sweet in the first place. The Mild mint bottle tastes like sugarless mint. Almost doesnt have a taste & thats why the PH is higher. Thank you for confirming what I already suspected 🙏

Glycerin is a humectant and is hydrating, that’s probably why it’s in there

@@emerson23946 thanks for that tidbit. I see it's used in health and body products as well. I do believe its function is to prevent moisture. It's probably harmless as a quick mouth rinse. Ill have to do more research, but I'm personally not a huge fan of additives. I just prefer to make my own solution of mouthwash so that I know exactly what's in it.

@@Lookin4LoveInAllTheWrongPlaces -1/2 cup water, -2 tsp baking soda, -Few drops of Peppermint oil. -Few drops of Tea tree oil(optional) The last one is just to fight off germs. I bought both oils at Sprouts so a little pricey but it's lasted me a pretty long time and Ive been satisfied with it. It's a non-sweet, clean peppermint tasting solution.

I have been facing this issue for almost a year now and also dry mouth. I first thought it is from mouth so I got my teeth cleaned and the dentist assured me that it will cure the bad breath but it didn’t. I have gerd issues but that is normal from a while and i also think i have sinus because i usually have running nose when i get up and a kind of irritation in nose. At work I have to talk to many people and it kills my confidence when they rub their nose. I just forget what i was talking about and it is creating problems for me. I brush my teeth twice a day. Eat chewing gums entire day and keep my mouth hydrated by drinking water yet this shit isn’t going away. until I meant Dr Emovon on KZbin. I have bad teeth. Many are 75% filling. Have had a couple of root canals and a couple of back teeth pulled. I started taking better care of them and started using Therabreath Anticavity. I use Sensodyne Pronamel for toothpaste. Is 6 pH high enough to be a positive choice for someone like me? It doesn't really burn for me, but now I'm thinking I might be better with the 8 pH option. I believe the Anticavity option has xylitol, though, which is good while the 8 pH option does not (although it also contains citric acid and citric lemon peel oil while the 8 pH option does not). I also started using Zellies xylitol mints throughout the day. (I'm using Target and Walmart ingredients lists for comparison.)

I got the one that has 8 PH. Yaya. Getting on the road to healing my teeth and was prescribed with duraphat toothpaste and got this to go along with it and it seems it'll work very well together. I also have a water flosser but the pressure is not strong enough imo to feel any difference? Imma keep using string floss and the interdental brushes as the water doesn't get the food out. May need a newer one.

People shouldn’t worry so much because we eat and drink acidic things all the time that are bad for teeth and even worse than this plus brushing your teeth and flossing is actually enough to have healthy teeth just don’t rinse your mouth with water or eat or drink for atleast a half hour after brushing.
