I sincerely thank you folks for using external microphone to record audio for your videos. This is very soothing =)

Awesome video. I think we're so spoiled by today's 911s, it takes real balls to drive one of these.

Nice to see HD video of the more-or-less 911 I started with nearly 35 years ago. (Only wish we could go into the WABAC machine and drive the old, non-neutered configuration.)

I had a 68S way back when and it was tons of fun to drive at the limit. The front end would get light at high speed and start to wander around a bit but the car always felt solid. The factory fix was a chin spoiler and a fair amount of lead up front. I remember a long race with a 2.4T that was faster with the higher torque engine but it was a newer car and thus not in the pre-67 racing category. The 2 liter wasn't a didn't get off the line very fast but it would sure wind up. A racing clutch disk didn't last long but was easy to replace.

Finally a someone who realizes the importance of audio quality in good incar recording. This is the most excellent thing on the internet. May I dare ask how much did the audio equipment cost what this was recorded with?

Steering more with his right foot than with the steering wheel. Great stuff. EDIT: Actually, by the third lap it looks as though the back is sticking bet... oh, he just went off lol. OK, just shut up and watch. :)

Was the GoPro hindering your vision? I saw it resting on the top of your helmet visor and thought it would be a good try for a future track day.

I think it's just his style, maybe he's constantly checking the grip or it's just a habit. It does not seem to be slowing him down too much, though.

Direct connection between the butt and steering input. Guess need to add throttle in the equation. Fun to watch. See you in turn 5 Sat and Sun. T5 Flag.
