No Man's Sky is an action-adventure survival video game developed and published by the indie studio Hello Games for PlayStation 4 and Microsoft Windows.
No Man's Sky's gameplay is built on four pillars-exploration, survival, combat and trading-in which players are free to perform within the entirety of a procedurally generated deterministic open universe, which includes over 18 quintillion planets, many with their own set of flora and fauna. By exploring, players gain information about the planets that they can submit to the Atlas, a universal database that can be shared with other players of the game. Players get compensated in in-game currency every time new information is uploaded to The Atlas. Players also gain materials and blueprints to upgrade their character's equipment and purchase a variety of starships, allowing them to travel deeper into the center of the galaxy, survive on planets with hostile environments, interact in friendly or hostile manners to computer-controlled space-faring factions, or trade with other ships. Some activities, such as killing too many lifeforms or draining too many resources from planets, will draw the attention of patrolling robotic Sentinels that will attempt to kill the player-character. No Man's Sky is a first-person, open world survival game. Players take the role of a planetary explorer in an uncharted universe. They are equipped with a survival spacesuit with a jetpack; a "multitool" that can be used to scan, mine and collect resources as well as to attack or defend oneself from creatures and other entities while on a planet; and a spacecraft that allows them to land and take-off from planets and travel between them and engage in combat with other space-faring vessels. With this equipment, the player is then free to engage in any of the four principal activities offered by the game: exploration, survival, combat, and trading.

*Hey man! I'm a deaf man but I haven't always been a deaf man you see! I was born with a horrible debilitating condition called Ménière's disease and I battled and fought this disease the best I could but I lost my battle with it finally around Christmas time of 2013 and it took my hearing from me... During this time, I took to KZbin 100 % because the only friends I did have, abandoned me because I was a disabled man now.. This is also how I found you dude! Although I couldn't hear what you was saying, my sister would write down videos for me in my notebook - no matter how long the videos are - and then she would make me read and watch along the videos, so I can feel like I am apart of this wonderful community! She has been my biggest support since I went deaf and she always does her best for me.. Watching you're videos dude, has really made me a happier person because I feel like I am involved with something on here.. Like, just giving you a watch and leaving you comments, I feel like I am actually contributing to something so that has made me feel really good!.. Unfortunately, my time may be cut short now bro.. About 3 weeks ago, I got the worst news of my life.. :(.. My Doctor diagnosed me with Cancer and I'm not sure what kind it is yet as I am still waiting on the official results to come back. ;((. I don't think I'll beat this type of disease man but I just am thanking all my favorite youtubers that has really helped me so much in the past 3 years now because I just really don't know how long I'm going to live now.. so I just wanna thankk you man for being there for me when you didn't know you was even there for me and even helping me so again dude, thanks.. I don't think people will understand me but going deaf and now getting Cancer, this is my own little world and watching all my fav youtubers, has really helped me.. mainly, to be happy again.. I just got this game yesterday and once it updated and I played for about an hour I was stuck. It is absolutely fantastic especially after all the updates. I cant put it down lol. I love open world games so to stumble upon a science fiction game that's pretty much infinite, I was pretty happy.

wow, just bizarre how this game evolved from the beginning to one of my favorite games I have ever played, from the first day I played NMS I still have 1 account with so many hours of playtime at this point, the game never dissapointed me, it just needed some time to get way better then how it looks here. I love the exploring in the game, by landing on a strange unknown planet and see whats out there. Fun to see the first version of NMS again:)

I am 39 years old and have a benign tumour in my bile duct. Due to acute pancreatitis it is extremely rude and risky to operate. My prognosis is not good and I went into a severe depression gaining weight and becoming very close to suicidal for several years after my diagnosis. Almost all of my friends left my side when I found out so I know how incredibly painful it can be and how lonely. The funny thing is you just want people to treat you normally for me like one of the girls. But eventually I learned that just not how long we have on this earth, but actually what we do with the time we have. From your comment I can tell you that you have touched a lot of people and made them think about how they treat friends that are disabled in their own lives and also brought them the knowledge of how precious their health is. For me The main lesson I learned becoming sick and tired all the time is your health is the most precious thing in the world from one sick person to another We must always try to remember that they just do not know how it feels and this is why they’re cool. You are an amazing person and I wanted to tell you that it was very courageous of you to open your feelings the way you did it is funny how a tiny thing like a video or a loved one writing something for you can change everything.
