What paint color/code was that Dr. Color Chip for the brake calipers?? I've been looking everywhere for a paint touch-up in that gold!

How long do you work Uno Pure? I recently purchased the Pure with the white pad. Do I work it on low speed until translucent? (Habe not used it yet so wanted to ask ahead of time)

This isn’t a shot on anyone as the guys in this video are truly great at what they do and forgot more about these subject than I’ll ever know. But...the dreaded “but”...Interesting how almost always, detailing experts claim black paint is “soft”. Matter of fact I can’t remember a video of a black car where the black paint/clear-coat wasn’t identified as “soft”. OTOH Speak to the experts on paints and clear-coats and they laugh at the “soft” claims. Maybe just maybe it’s because black paint shows the defects more and shows the haze and other common issues much more clearly.

The B-roll shots you see aren't necessarily chronological. The wet sanding and the polishing were actually happening simultaneously, (The previous episode w/ sanding was filmed over the same few days that this episode was) so much of what you see is scattered back & forth through time unless it's clearly noted as as "after" shot. Feel free to reach out to Dylan & Co. if you want the specifics of what was done though. We have a TON of footage that didn't make the cut because most viewers would probably find it a bit boring or dull, but there's SO MUCH more to show that we wish we could fit in!
