It’s so surreal to see a train barrel through a residential area. I thought it would be slower. Might visit this place in the future

It's a MOW train ( Maintenance Of Way).

Those boxcar with the roll up doors are tool cars for the MOW machines. There were 2 machines on that train that I built in Charlotte at the Roadway Shop. Most of those are built in Charlotte.

@@trevorcooke8129 If anything gets down in the flange area of the track on a street run it can easily derail a train so maintenance of way have to check that section of track daily. Thank you so much for watching

There was a street-running train in Weymouth Harbour in the UK, where passenger trains used to go to a station on the quayside. It doesn't exist any more.

"Interesting" graffiti (if there can be such a thing) on NS grain car 296704 at 16:04. "BOSER (with a star and some initials)", which appears on a lot of grain cars, is immediately followed by "TIMMY (with knife dripping blood)", which appears on a lot of other grain cars. They are obviously drawn by different people, and at different times.

@@therailroadtiespiker I do not. I hired out on NS in 1998 and some of it was still there. The west switch was still there. When they tore the industry down that is there (General Tire I think) they took the lead and the rest of the pass out.
