Thank you so so much for this video, bought some plantains today and have only worked with them once before, going to give the trick with oiling the hands and using the paring knife down the ridges to peel, trying to venture out into some new ingredients and this helped, bless you 🤗

Never touched a plantain in my life. I have one that is green and one that is starting to yellow. I can make twice fried with both? About to enjoy a plantain late night snack with rice and peas and shrimp. Ok, is going to be a yummy late supper.
