I've tried SH tanks and motorized. Invasion of Poland was going ok since 4 combat width divisions had the soft attack of a 20CW infantry divisions but I couldn't break the river line since the division had like a -97% division attack modifier on rivers

I remember when I first got the game and ignored the tutorial and any videos to help. I ended up loosing to switzerland. I WAS PLAYING AS FRIKIN GERMANY ON RECRUIT DIFFICULTY.

I played the tutorial as Italy against Ethiopia. But the tutorial is (or maybe was) bad. It didn't cover all elements, like you get overall more infrastructure, when you built infrastructure in your capitol, which is a vital tip. Also I didn't learn, that you can change your divisions, which is vital. Only got that through hour long tutorials.

What do you mean Germany didn't have the production capacity to just build light tanks in ww2... LOL! Germany was estimated to have 14% of the worlds military production capability in 1938 second only to the USA.. Only two nations on earth out produced them in tanks. Germany industry was comparable to Russia and it didn't mobilise behind the war till 1944 the same year the bombing campaign was at its most devastating and yet was Germany best production year by almost 2x the second best year 1943 in almost every category.

findlay smith you’ll get around a month of enjoyment from the base game but the dlcs are where it’s at. Paradox are a mini ea though so I suggest waiting for one of the big sales.

my suggestion would be to get more minor nations into the axis so they can hold the front , dominate dutch trade negotations, if bombers are allowed use those to destroy infrastructure to slow down their advance while you rush into poland. Also dominating dutch trade can be a good way to get the oil from the dutch east indies, if that is allowed.
