Today's business landscape is like a candyland for entrepreneurs. Consumerism is booming worldwide, and relocating to new places may be the best option for those seeking to create rather than just consume. Though like-minded people may not exist where you are, that doesn't mean they don't exist somewhere else. If you're limiting yourself to one city, state, or even country, then yes, it can be very difficult. But for those who are willing to move towards opportunities, it becomes a lot easier. Godspeed.

Hang in there. We have 3 boys in their 30s and they have all found and married great women with good values. Example Our youngest son when he first graduated college took his girlfriend out to a fancy dinner. A few days latter she told him it was a great dinner but don't waist money on her like that again. She grew up on a farm and her father died when she was in middle school so they did not have a lot of money.

For me it was a math problem when I was 26. I used the fidelity site to find out how much I have to save to have $2.5 million by retirement. I assumed that i would need that much along with my pension to have a good retirement like my grandfather. We assumed that SS would not be there, and the jury is still out on that in 2032. So that fidelity program said that I need to put $500/mo into the fund for 41 years to end up with $~2.65 million. So I stayed on track for the first 17 years and ended up with a million. Then after ~7 years it would double, and after another ~7 years it would double again. That fund is closing in on $6 mil. So yes, it can be a simple math problem.

@@onyeilonyeil9468 It is math. Part one: Have a plan(math). Part two: Execute the plan. The 6 and 7 figure people, living paycheck to paycheck, don't have a plan and certainly are not executing a plan. In "Tuff Times Never Last, Tough People Do", If you do not have a plan, they are planning to fail. That ranges from the people like my dad saying that "he does not have enough income for a budget" to the caller a few days ago saying that their 3000/mo food budget is holding them back from paying off their under 10K student loans which are in forbearance while making a 170K/yr. That is a discipline problem.
@rog3rs528 Жыл бұрын
@@gibblespascack1418 making the plan (math) takes maybe 30 minutes to an hour of you life to figure out your goal. Living the rest of your life on said plan takes everything you got to succeed. Its 99% discipline. Its like a construction permit plan....we don't give credit to the permit when we build houses, we give credit to the labor because the permit is just a plan. Here's another one. Tom Brady is successful because of his skills gained from work he has put in, not the plays (plan) that are drawn off a playbook. Anyone can use the same playbook and still fail. It has to do with the discipline and that's what you did. Good job on sticking to the plan. You are the winner for staking committed and remaining disciplined, not the plan.

@cogenman House price was $220,500. We put 20% down so that gave us a mortgage of $176,400. We did a 15 year and the interest rate was 4.375%. Both my wife and I are engineers so we were making about $65k each at the time. Neither of us had any debt. We could have taken out a car loan but decided to work on the house first. We went to college in Georgia so the HOPE scholarship covered tuition if you keep a 3.0 GPA. That allowed us to avoid taking out any student loans. We basically put half of our take home pay towards the mortgage every month and were still able to live comfortably. Grated house prices and interest rates today are higher so it would take a little longer if we were doing it again in takes market. Also it was before we had kids so that helped.

Lol, why you misogynists always have to bring women down every chance you get? Learn to be accountable for who you pick as a partner. I'm a married woman, I will be the first to say I chose wrong. My husband and I started out at similar salary ranges (40K), despite me having more debts because I hadn't learned proper financial management skills. Now I earn 3x than before, while my husband has squandered away his time (I make 2.5x his current salary), he has no self discipline and it feels like he doesn't understand how his actions actively sabotage OUR future. I cannot have kids because my husband refuses to step up and be mature, and what's heartbreaking is I became a better person because I loved my husband enough to realize I needed to change and not negatively affect his future, however he never loved me enough to make the effort. He screwed over his 401K, he worked for a company who matched and he never set it up, for 3 yrs straight he got mail about his 401k and everytime he did I told him to contact fidelity and set it up, because you're not investing the money you're putting in so you're losing money on inflation. After pestering him for several years on finances, needing to pull his weight, and begging him to show me some affection, I am deciding I will not procreate with him, I can't be more invested or care about him and his future than he is, and I will just have to wait until my love for him has dried up before I divorce him. I hate that I can see my love slowly turning to resentment, and no matter how much I suggest marriage counseling and individual therapy (because what he is doing makes no sense) he refuses. He says he loves me and wants to be together, but barely shows affection unless I ask, has only ever given me one gift which was an orchid (which died cause I never cared for plants and orchids are notoriously hard to care for) then uses that as an excuse as to why he won't gift me anything (Because "he's bad at gifting, so I didn't like the orchid and killed it" 🙄) The man is emotionally manipulative, and my brain logically knows better but I still am in love with the person I thought I knew, not whoever the heck I'm married to now.

I started stacking to SAVE wealth. I've always been the type of person to spend my entire paycheck. I hate having money just sit in the bank. Buying bitcoin and eth for me is a way to save without blowing my money on stupid stuff. And later in the year or next year I'm going to cash in for a down-payment on a home. Great video Craig.

It’s fine to have money in crypto, but don’t put your savings in crypto. It’s too volatile for that. Especially if you want to save for a house. A HYSA is much better for that.

The biggest thing keeping me from being a millionaire is Dave Ramsey telling me to not buy bitcoin in 2014 😢
@carlaritchie331 Жыл бұрын
LOL... Aren't you an adult? Go do it if you want! Dave thinks it's risky so gives a warning. He also says that you should make the decisions about your money and not allow others to choose for you. The consequences are yours, win or lose. You can't say you weren't warned but everyone has their own opinions. On any topic you will find supporters and people who disagree.

It's only math in terms of numbers. But there are accountants living paycheck to paycheck. Do u think their problem is maths? There are people who make 6-7figs STILL living paycheck to paycheck or broke. So it's not a math problem, it's a VISION & DISCIPLINE problem aka BEHAVIOR

Cryptocurrency is volatile. Diversifying your portfolio is a sensible strategy. For example, I have deposits on Binance where I engage in trading, also staking on Kraken, investing in companies like Cannafarm Ltd, and I also participate in liquidity pools
