As a divorced guy with two kids I have found single moms are always trying to latch on to someone but almost all women tell me "I ain't raising someone else's kids". After 3 years of separation & 2 years divorced I totally get it. My ex starts something all the time. I don't even want the drama, there is no way I would invite another woman into the drama. I say never marry , stay single & learn to be happy & content on your own. To bad there is so much division between the sexes but divorce destroys so much it really is not worth it any more.

Once I ran out of money I couldn’t afford my lawyer and we went to court yet again. She had a lawyer and I did not. I lost because of it. This will continue this way until my youngest is 18 years old. 8 years of this, a marriage is hard pressed to survive this long drawn out process. Courts do not care, meanwhile your debt continues to grow. Samantha Smiles The thing is though, courts order Child support way above what is needed. And most “mothers” do not use the money on the child, but on themselves. It does not cost 1k a month to care for 1 kid, or even 2. Its called child support, not support your spouses lifestyle. Thats Alimony, which I also (mostly) disagree with. The only exception to Alimony, should be if one parent stayed at home with the child, and the other worked, and supported them, Alimony should only be paid out until all the children are 5 years of age, which then allows the mother to work. It is stupidity that courts make a person pay to the tune of a lifestyle, that is ludicrous. I could easily feed kids, clothe them, for less than 100$ a week. The courts always take men for a ride.

This has nothing to do with the ex wife. The judge always makes the biological parents split the fees of a guardian ad litem. Just because you split up doesn't mean you get to opt our of paying for your child.
@ronwhiteleo33525 жыл бұрын
The judge will always decide for the woman, this is why if you got more than an nickel in your pocket.. you should NOT get married..

tie it up in appeals as big business does. it's at least some protection of contempt from our unconstitutional family court judges.

Their decision to not get a lawyer has cost them dearly. They also need to agree on how far this will go. It may be a losing battle. Sometimes you have to let it go. But get a lawyer first.

If people know the ex is an addict, then why is it so difficult to get custody? Find the proof you need and present it to the judge. A lot of states allow minors to choose which parent they want to live with as long as the child is a certain age. The age is different in each state.

Guardianship can be an abusive curse. Guardians bankrupted my neighbor's mother leaving less than zero to the four kids. The Guardian was appointed because the youngest daughter - a drug addict - moved in with the mom and was spending her money without authorization. This is what the court did - and it was worse.

I don’t date men with messy ex spouse drama. I simply won’t. I realize not everyone is able to have a healthy coparent situation for reasons beyond their control but it’s not a situation I would want to involve myself or my daughter in.

@jenniferarcher-bock93023 жыл бұрын
Omg, why is the husband putting his poor wife through this? Why is she contributing her money towards his custody battle? Men need to make peace with their baggage and not drag it into new marriages. If they want any peace at all and the mother is ruled fit by a judge they should concede to the mom. These are always losing battles and it’s the new wife who suffers...
@richardw34709 ай бұрын
Give them the kid. He will, unfortunately, not last very long and all will be out of their misery or he'll turn out like Mom. How's the girl doing? Ex could care less and her parents failed with her so are trying for a do over. Start your own family. Dad can mourn his first two. Wonder how this came out.

They should have gone to legal aid, or reached out to the father's rights league in Austin, tx. They have lawyers you can call anytime and throw as many legal questions as possible and gets answers
