The daycare idea isn’t too bad! She could just babysit a couple kids along with keeping hers and she’s got a little extra side job! Or she could look into cleaning churches . Or even her husband could ask about lawn maintenance at churches in their community. I know leaves are falling and trash needs picked up. Just because it’s not summer doesn’t mean there’s not yard work that needs done! Or he can look into hauling small trunk loads of firewood in his car. There’s always a side hustle to be found if you look for it!

I think the good news about this guy's situation is he would not need to make drastic changes to be doing better. Maybe if he can find a mentor nearby and can get further help developing a career plan, picking up an addtl part time job after the holidays and holds it down til he finds a better paying one in the next several mos, he can be doing much better. He is only 24, plenty of time to continue to learn how to work on these things.

Wife and kid(s) are a lot for a young man his age. He should be traveling and focusing on a career path. There was plenty of time for the marriage and other stuff. It's a preventable complication.

My husband was a teen parent. Started working at 16 at Target now at 34 he has a stable trade with great pay. Having a family isn't a hindrance. If anything it should make him strive to do something better with his working career.
@MissCandy3505 жыл бұрын
@@nicolcacola it will definitely slow things down and that can be avoided. I'm not saying you can't make it, but I wouldn't advise my son to take all that on so early in his life. This young man seems directionless. Marriage and kids won't necessarily make you strive harder--either you're motivated or you're not. One bad decision can derail your entire life. There's nothing wrong in waiting. A solid career, education and stable finances take time. Very few people have all of these things by age 24. A child deserves to come into a healthy situation with mature parents--in both age and mind.
