Speaking as someone who has moved way too many times, there have only been 2 times where I didn’t have anything lined up. The first time I was an idiot. The second time I had a pile of money and family in the area. Never ever move until you have a job lined up. That’s rule number one.
@Nashville4N63 жыл бұрын
I did it exactly one time and only because 1) I was incredibly miserable where I was and 2) I had a rent-free place to go (my mom and stepdad’s camp). And I knew I was employable and I was willing to go just about anywhere. I took whatever job I could find in the meantime and it worked out that I found a job here and a year later I bought my house! I do remember thinking that I should be super stressed as it was the first time I’d been unemployed since I was 15, but I was just so relieved to have gotten out of where I was (a toxic work environment in a city I didn’t like) that it was overriding the stress lol. It can work out, but you have to have some super generous family, a willingness to work any job, and a little luck (or God on your side!)

I don’t know how anybody can be mad at these men for the amazing advice they give.... some people just need to grow up and stop being so weak and overly emotional. We are all human we all have emotions, we go through ups and downs but we need to take charge at some point and not leave it all up to emotions. Thinking logically and having a figure like Dave is so important. I think Dave is doing a great service to this young generation because a lot of us are lost and wouldn’t even know where to begin so we can have a happy and somewhat successful life. ❤️ Thank you to this program for trying to resurface some old fashion ways of doing things that had a reason for being.. but for one reason or another part of this generation is trying to get rid of because they just can’t handle discipline... Hope everyone who reads this until the end has a very blessed day 🤗🙏🏼

“He works in a lab” I know Ph.D students being paid 36k as a STIPEND. There’s zero way he’s making that as a researcher. He’s probably doing minimum wage contract work that requires a hs diploma. @@Popcorn466 That’s not true at all. First to address the food industry thing, that’s just incorrect. I have friends who were in my chemical engineering program who went into research on food processing and are making 150k right now. Excellent Part B, Anthony! My husband has had to do that twice during our 28-year marriage. 26 years old and living at home. That blows my mind. I got married and moved out at 18 in 1992. Both of my kids moved out as independent adults at 18. I can understand it more if they're 26, in college, and living at home. Something no one followed up on but seems really important to me at least is that she said they've been together 7 years and they're 26 meaning that he gained this 60k in debt while they were together while she was saving up to have 20k (her parents did the work to get the other 28k) the father isn't holding the debt against him he's holding the lifestyle against him.
