How cool is this! My husband and I met Heather and her daughter in September when we were visiting Ramsey Studios. We stood in the parking lot chatting about how Ramsey has changed our lives. She is such a kind and sweet soul and we could tell she had a light inside of her! Heather, we are cheering you on as you continue your journey! Jade & John, you are doing neat things! Love this series ❤

Her monthly income is $8K and her mortgage is only $1565. Where could she find a new home for that amount of money? I don't live in her area, but my nephew and his wife pay $1600 for a studio apartment outside Atlanta. A STUDIO. That's 1 room, and it cost more than her entire ranch. There are so many ways on a ranch to make money. My friend in Canada boards horses and she makes more than $1,200 a month for each horse. Allowing your barn to be used for a wedding venue seasonally could also be a big money maker. Selling and buying something else, I just think that's cray cray. BTW, the idea of writing a goodbye letter to your marriage is brilliant.
@antinormality
@antinormality 20 сағат бұрын
I was thinking the same thing about her mortgage payment. She pays $1565 now. She’s selling the house to pull out the $300k in equity and turning that into a $150k down payment. Let me make some educated guesses here: sell the old house for $650k. Buy a new place for $350k and put $150k down. New mortgage is $200k. Run that through the Ramsey Mortgage Calculator and her new monthly house payment is $2,188. For moving to make a significant difference on her finances, she needs to buy a $150k house. That might mean buying land that has a run down single wide on it. I’d go with boarding horses.

Her story is almost an exact parallel of a person that I know. They were not giving up a house but the same process of making the decisions that were personal and hard and by the unbelievable grace of God, they made them and are now in a much better position. This episode brought me to tears and reflection and thankfulness. Awesome work and thank you to Heather for transparency and being vulnerable. That takes much courage.

Yea, they really offered some valuable information, it's always easy for others to question how people get into depts, I lost over 80k in crypto market mid last year, even when I tried to step up with cpytrading, they sucked honestly. If not that I received a recommendation where I channeled the little I had late last year now able to pay off my CC and get back, I could never believe I have grown these all just from little capital within couple of months. We obviously doing exploits this year, working towards owning a million dollar business this year, then I would gladly retire.

It's a lot relief having your bills paid just from daily profits from investments honestly.

Well done Heather 😊 so proud of how much you’ve changed over 90 days to achieve so much 👍👍🙏🙏 I went through a divorce 10 years ago that left me penniless but I really took radical steps to now being debt and mortgage free and slowly building up my wealth..there is no better feeling than peace from no debt and no house or car payment..it meant completely changing my foundations like Heather but the reset had helped me flourish in so many ways I can’t begin to mention 🙏I love this Ramsay format btw that follows through on someone’s journey 😊 it’s fabulous and terrific ☑️ well done Jade and John and can’t wait to see many more success stories 🙏🙏

I don’t even know her, but been down the divorce road and had sole custody of my two girls, and a dad who was absent from their lives 90% of the time. It is hard when you wear so many hats. I watched the whole video and had tears fill my eyes for the strong woman who emerged from the fire… God does make beauty from ashes, just walk with Him and trust in Him!

Love the new series! We need more of these full stories showing listeners (watchers?) that this really works. Heather will have no trouble finding someone nice. I hope her ex-husband will find his match as well.

This was emotional for me because I used to dream of having a little farm. I am not judging, I just hate debt this is the why you live within your means. If you can’t afford that cruise don’t go clowning around on Carnival! I have worked 2 jobs for 3 and 5 years to get what I wanted but once we had kids we wanted to be able to relax and enjoy!
