I raised 184k and Anna Kathleen Sanford is to be thanked. I got my self my dream car 🚗 just last weekend, My journey with her started after my best friend came back from New York and saw me suffering in dept then told me about her and how to change my life through her. Anna K. Sanford is the kind of person one needs in his or her life! I got a home, a good wife, and a beautiful daughter. Note!:: this is not a promotion but me trying to make a point that no matter what happens, always have faith and keep living!!

Imagine earning 190k a year and living paycheck to paycheck. I know it happens but can you imagine?
@PrincessLolly13 сағат бұрын
We do make that kind of money. (85% is my husband’s base + bonus. I have a much lower salary and work 60% PT.) We grew up modest (him) and poor (me). We can’t believe how some of these callers have lived. Two of my in-laws are like this. They think bcz they work hard at their 40 hr/wk job they’re entitled to buy every little crappy toy, or clothes or tech thing or go on a big vacation every year or two. We’re really worried they’ll be bankrupt in a year or two and/or working until they die. We’re all in our mid 50s. Young people need to wake up to what their material-based self-worth means about their integrity/values and how it’s shaping what their elder years will look like.

Yes I did this. My husband‘s credit cards were only in his name and when he passed away from a boating accident, I was not responsible for any of his debts and I had to wait till I was 60 to draw a Social Security and his small pension that he has but he had a one life insurance policyso yeah you’re not responsible for it if it’s only in his name, even if you’re married because he didn’t have any other finances that were outstanding

We make around $200K. When we made around $100K we bought 3-5 yr old cars and paid them off in 3yrs. Now we buy 2-3 yr old cars for cash or pay them off in 1-2 years. Car debt and student loans will suck your assets dry.

George, you are my favorite person on the show, followed by Jade. Love it when its you and Jade hosting. I like Rachel, but have a hard time with her when she does the "what I would do" because she has not had to struggle financially in life. She really doesn't know what she would do in that situation as she has never been in that situation...When she tells people to work multiple jobs or 80 hours a week....Geex, she has never had to do this and in reality has no clue how difficult it is. - her dad yes; George, Jade - both made it thru paying off massive debt. What massive debt has Rachel had to pay off??? I'm thinking nada. As in nada thing. Not that Rachel doesn't give decent advise, but she has not had to live it.

@@amireallythatgrumpy6508 wrong, this American grew up with a single mom who worked her tail off and we still lived in poverty; no tv half our childhood, old, used clothes friends gave us, ground beef was a luxury, no car, never went to the dentist, lots of shame

I think that's the idea. They are trying to give the others a chance and the practice to be the lead.
@GoldenOldies-0075 сағат бұрын
Maybe they are on vacation. Dr John has had some kind of personality change. He constantly tries to sound so cool, but when he says "rocking on till the break of dawn" I just cringe. Or when he sings caller names. Ken is just irreverent to me (I'm retired). Rachel is decent, basically states what Dave would. I've gotten to where I just am not listening to the shows that don't have Rachel, George or Jade.

Morgan, every city has a Legal Aid where attorneys offer their services pro bono (no charge). Your relative should contact them and find out the next legal steps - there is an entire different pathway if someone passed without a will AND if children from two different fathers are involved. This is NOT a question for a call-in radio show where neither host is an attorney. He cannot wait 6 months to a year to get his emotional self straight - he will need to get a probate date from the court as soon as possible and they will assist him with the paperwork and steps to take. I settled my father-in-law's estate who had no legal will as the court-appointed Executor and also worked part-time for an attorney's office. He needs the right kind of help. And you, Morgan - do NOT get your name on his accounts. There are different regulations for who is responsible for what when two names are on accounts and you could be held liable. DO NOT DO THAT WITHOUT SPECIFIC ADVICE FROM AN ATTORNEY ON HOW IT COULD AFFECT YOU! The positive about life insurance is that you don't pay federal income tax on life insurance. Please also keep in mind that many estate laws are state-specific, so that is why you need help from someone in YOUR state with real estate knowledge.
@PrincessLolly13 сағат бұрын
As someone who settled two estates - little money with Medicaid and Estate Recovery issues in both - you are absolutely correct! Good intentions can mess things up from a probate standpoint. Everything is very state specific. These two hosts don’t have any of the knowledge your brother needs in this urgent and delicate situation.

Please stop recommending buying a condo or a townhouse for someone who can't afford a stick built home or is going into retirement. Just stop recommending purchasing them period. The HOA fees go up at least 5% a year, as well as the property taxes going up, so it is NOT a way to control housing costs! I did that, sold my money pit house and bought a Condo. The condo, It has not increased in value very much, maybe $15k in 2 years, and the condo fee has gotten ridiculous as there is no law to control how much the board can decide to raise it and of course there are the "special assessments" to worry about. Finally, living in a condo, you may as well be in an apartment - the shared walls make sure everyone hears everything. I will never purchase a condo again, nor will I recommend them to anyone. Will be selling mine this spring. The sooner the better.
