My favourite band of all time. The album this single is taken from (Infernal Love) and the album before that (Troublegum) hit me right at the perfect teen years. I still listen to these guys all these years later. Thanks for this reaction! Cheers from Sweden.

I am with you. Those two albums hit me hard as well in my teens, and the songs really spoke to almost every single issue I was facing during that time of my life.

@@APREACTS Yeah, it's rare when a band sticks with you for so long. I mean, usually with albums/bands that you sort of attach yourself to during your formative years they don't necessarily stay with you 20 odd years later because you yourself evolve and grow new tastes and the such. But with T? I think their more recent stuff is probably some of the best albums they ever put out.

Loved this reaction. I really enjoyed the more in depth breakdown as the video is more complex than what we usually see. I was not familiar with the song or the story behind it so I did a quick search. The girl was actually called Diane. She was a 19 year old waitress on her way home from work who was forced into a car. Her body was found 2 weeks later with her clothes in a pile beside her, which was referenced in the lyrics. It didn't mention anything about her being pregnant so I think you got the interpretation spot on as regards to that part of the video. They did an amazing job. Extremely creepy lyrical content but the whole feel with the haunting music and the way he portrays the murderer was really well done. Great pick :)

Man, this is one of the many many many bands that are the reason I absolutely loved growing up in the 90's. The perfect storm of fantastic bands in that era is almost as impressive as the early hardrock and metal bands.

Very good analysis. Thanks. Yesterday or so, something reminded me this video. I haven't seen it for eight years or more. Back then, when I first hear it, I didn't understand English very well. So i had no idea about what is that. But what catch me, was the sound. The melody, his voice... And cryptic creepy video with some hidden meaning - so I start digging... After translation of lyrics, video started to make sense to me. But still some things that i didn't catch - I was too young then Now after years, I get more of it... I still didn't get 'pregnant' part, but your take makes a lot of sense.

Epic song about a creepy true story. Listen to Falco "Jeanny" and read the lyrics. Equal creepy and beautiful.

For me the video was like a combination of the movies "Psycho" (A. Hitchcock), "The Shining" (Stanley Kubrick) plus "The Exorcist" (William Friedkin). Nothing wrong with that & liked the song also. Nice reaction, thanks.

Good afternoon Gentlemen, thanks for doing this song, it is a very powerful, very dark song, but also very beautifully done. The instruments are haunting and his voice is really good but creepy as fuck to with regards to what he is singing about. On the replies to this song the Girl who plays Diane has replied and says she was the girl in the video which was cool. Yeah I thought he was saying Die Diane as well. Thanks for sharing, have a lovely day :).

You NEED to react to Mercenary. Anything off of the albums "11 Dreams" or "The Hours that Remain". If you want specific recommendations, I'd say "11 Dreams", "Firesoul", "Lost Reality" and "Redefine Me" are great to start with.

Therapy? Come from the county next to me here in Ireland, they used to play here nearly every month a pub in the early 90's but I actually never took to them, I guess I was always too much into Death and Black Metal.. 😂

Too bad this was the censured version. The most confronting phrase in the first verse is replaced here. I once told a teacher of mine about this song. She knew it, even loved the song but never knew about the uncensured version. When I told her, it took the colour from her face. For 25 years she had thought this was a lovesong.

Music videos are such a neglected art form these days. Just have some half naked ladies shake their asses and you're done. And then you get Therapy? ... Callow, Still Hurts, Deathstimate ... sure, they have bog standard 'band plays the song' vids too. But damn, they have some absolute gems.
