“Please Stay” is actually a part of a Trio with Graceland Too (Phoebe) and Favor (Julien) as they all talk about Julien’s struggle with mental health (upon other things). All three also sing on the three songs together and they performed the songs at the boygenius concerts right after each other. There is sooo much more but pls go listen to the three songs together if you want to cry more!!

I believe We're in Love is also a part of that set but I can't recall where I read that. Like it's a song about how Lucy would feel if JB was no longer here. And I think it also nearly didn't make it on to the album because it felt so personal but JB warmed up to it. 🌸

Im not sure if it counts as being part of the set, but I remembered Julien saying she felt it was too long and she had trouble with the song because she was ;learning the difference between “being scrutinized and being seen.” Also, Lucy sang the song a cappella to phoebe and they both cried in bed singing lol

I don't know if it's too late to comment, but brakence's album is still the best album ever created, in my opinion. There's just so much in it.. Twitter references, Terraria, Elden Ring, inverting the polarting is talking about a plugin for music making, I suppose. Lyricism is amazingly done. Transistions are amazing, vocals, production, there's so much I could go over! In caffeine, it references people making so many type beats. In caffeine, he talks about how his music being the snobbiest, he made complex odd instrumentals in caffeine, and he artistically solod all of it with vocals. Quite literally soloing the whole track. You guys can reply with your takes, and I'll update this with more stuff I love if it gets some recognition.
