Knuckles - these are the hockey stories the true fan wants to hear!!! The stories keep getting better - every podcast keeps you hanging on every word! The honesty is phenomenal! Tim makes an amazing point. In life right now everyone is an expert -There are too many people these days that tell you what to do with zero experience. Kelly Chase - Fabulous insight behind the curtain!!!

Great interview w/Chaser! Very honest about everything; I could listen to him all day, any day. Best line of the interview - in reference to seeing his kid wearing his hat backwards…”when did you become a welder?” 🤣🤣

Best line 1:32:30 was where they are talking about "players today who play a certain role" & they get 5 fights a year, and they're considered that type of player. "back in the day 5 fights was a weekend in Chicago" LMAO!! Love the pod boys, keep it up!

I played in Paradise Valley, Kitscoty, Saskatchewan and Alberta senior hockey. Loved it. Used to hang out at Max's Diner in Saskatoon. Was in court one day in Saskatoon and Twist was in there too. These guys on the Blades during Wendell times made for a lot of great games to watch

This is great! I really enjoyed what Chase was all about! He always had his teammates back! Gotta respect a man that knows he’s tough but doesn’t have to throw it in your face! I love all the great stories! Tony Twist was another one of my favourite players that “stopped the bullies from bullying” his teammates! Man, this is awesome, you guys just keep bringing in great guests! Thank you, I loved every moment of this!

Oh my God was this hilarious. Kelly Chase, guy is an awesome storyteller. My buddy was a bouncer in St. Louis at a bar the Blues went to after games and used to block off a little party area in the back for them and he said all those guys, Chase, Twist, Hull, Federko, Shanahan, CuJo, etc were the best, huge tips for the staff and had all sorts of fun back there and drank the bar dry every night.

This my wife’s account but she freaked out when we were on our first dates and we were watching a game . LINDROS and Mcsorley got to dance and start yelling in the bar going nuts . She was like that made your night I was like fucking right. Now we are married 20 years.

These interviews are really great at giving us hockey fans a "ring side" seat to some in-depth conversations. Something that was not available a generation ago. Kudos to all of the former players who can market themselves, because the very long careers are not as common as they used to be. There is new talent pushing for a roster spot every year and only so many to go around. Thanks Chris and Tim for bringing us such amazing guests.

I love and grew up with nhl hockey the way it was when Chaser came into the league. I'm not a Leafs fan but if Shanny was as tough as Chaser believes he is, then Shanny should bring that to the Leafs because that team may be talented but they are as soft as Charmin. Keep up the great job guys! Love every episode!

I agree on parents being soft on their kids. My dad was tough on me but nowhere like his dad was on him. I hated him at the time But now realize and appreciate what he did. I have 2 teenage girls. Both have part time jobs. The older one paid her residence fees for college. She wanted to buy a Mac computer. Made her pay for it. She finished first year in school. Earned a soccer scholarship for $4000 and landed a full time job for this summer. My youngest works part time in a grocery store. Pays her dance fees and does great in school. Parents are talking the east route by not parenting. They are not prepping them for life

Are used to play in the Philly tournaments and we always had a bunch of teams didn’t want to play in Philly. I used to love playing Philly. I used to love to go down there and I should get off the bus and need to go to play the game or you go over to one of the local hotels you’d run the gauntlet 250 to 60 people screaming and yelling and she even died. I used to love it

Here is how you truly know who were the tough guys and who weren’t. The guys who weren’t come on the show and tell their story of how tough they were. The guys who were tough like Chris don’t talk about fighting and want to talk about playing hockey and the relationships they established.

Only thing is I laugh at Chaser. Because Probert beat Dave brown and dropped him and beat Twist bad in his prime. Probert was the best ever. Maybe Chase needs to educate himself on the Probert Brown fight as he tkoed him. As Brown what planet he was one. Plus you got beat by Probert every time. I mean he might be the only on doesn't believe Probert was the best ever. EUDCATE yourself Chase. I think you been hit in the head to many times lol!

Chase was a hugger in fights and hung on for dear life. Twist was a punching bag and lost lots of fights until he started doing roids and gained a bunch of weight.

@@matturibe5256 When Probert came into the NHL he was a menace. He pummeled all the old tough guys Glen Cohcrane, Gary Nyland, Dave Semenko, Dave Brown ..... and he scored a bunch of goals and points. Chase played 11 seasons and and had 17 career goals. Not sure he would even be a top 30 fighter. So his opinion doesn't mean much to me.
@matturibe5256 Жыл бұрын
@@Dave-fo1cb ya probie was awesome and smoked a pack of cigs a day lol! Semenko, so dirty like brown! Probert got revenge on him easy that second fight I agree he wasn’t all that good! A ton of time talking to your guest and no time with filler time talking about last weeks games or other bullshit. Love this show and keep bringing the guests. I don't agree with Chase supporting the LIV defectors who are being played blood money. Not for a second do I believe they're doing it to grow the PGA tour. BS.
