The renegades are a 2.6" wheel diameter tire - they would be too large

The offset is what helps. You can also dial down your radio's dual rate to limit hitting the trailing arms

The RCNetwork yes i put the aluminum hub extensions on instead of the factory plastic one's that come with the Jconcepts wheels makes a world of difference!!

Didn't read all the comments but do you think the gears in the transmission need to be replaced or have you encountered any problems yet .......P.S. bigger is better in the monster truck series oh ya plan on getting one tomorrow then slowly upgrade servo and tires first of course

Yes, def. Botht he trans gears and the bevel/pinions will need to be replaced when running these tires and brushless power

With the 25 mm offsets I now can't fit the lug nut on. I don't have enough of the Axel to thread the but onto.

nice review , it's not even close , the new Jconcepts tires and wheel combo is way better. I hope it won't break the truck so much with the new weight being put thru the axles , a thing that would have been nice Rich is the have the actual weight comparisons between the 2 tires combo .. I already have some upgrades planned...stay tuned! yeah, totally forgot about the weight difference....but they're pretty close. The Axial tires are just like a dense, hard, heavy "rubber" and the JConcepts are almost like a blown rubber

just had to drop the link to a picture of the real Grave Digger for all of you that say that the stock tire is too small..... they are indeed scale. everyone is too used to Clod size tires which are oversized.

Back in the early days the tires were oversized. I agree monster jam truck have smaller tires in scale than these trucks with the tribute wheels. But if the look doesnt suit you, maybe the added suspension and cushion you get will tickle your fancy, or the grip they have, this tire was meant to be a throw back. . They made several more versions of tires since. And the axail digger body is a noticeable amount smaller then most body's that are on trucks with jconcepts tribute wheels.

Run the narrower track, put the shocks in the "scale" locations, and drop the stance (front and rear, but lower in the front)level lower links, and you'll have a winner

Is it different to glue a monster truck tire compared to a short course tire? I can find short course tires being glued but not an actual monster truck tire

Zach Wetmore all the same - the key to gluing is prepping the surface (clean with simple green or windex) and using fresh Tire Glue (anything that’s been sitting or got hot is less effective). Once glued, either tire bands or large rubber bands to keep pressure on the bead against the wheel

These have a 12mm hex and the wheels come with three different adapters to adjust the offset from the truck. They should as long as your wheels run 12mm hexes
