Great airplane and great flying! You still have to control it when it touches down because the ground loop wins you if you don’t keep it rolling straight dancing with the rudder! Try it and it will make much better landings, same on take off, anticipate that torque and P factor with more right rudder and it will go much more straight!!!

Lately ya'll been doing reviews on bigger aircraft. I love em. This is awesome. Really, really like scale aircraft and since quads aren't scale. They don't count. But I gotta admit, they are my personal favorite. They are so easy to fly. BUT. these scale warlords and of course the Draco have all caught my fancy. This really looks cool. The retractable landing gear adds to its appeal. I wish these were a little cheaper , but we all know ya get what you pay for.

Lovely looking warbird well flown! I hope all goes well with the arrival of your new sprog!! x Fun Fact - It's interesting that model flyers talk about "tip stalls" (I did too! You mentioned it at the beginning of the flight as you banked into the left turn from your take off), but since taking up flying Gliders (sailplanes) last year, I have learned that it's actually called an "Asymmetric stall", where the wing on the inside of a turn stalls first and drops. This is because it is generating less lift as it is moving slower than the outside wing. Most wings don't stall at the tip first, as they are designed not to, so maintaining better aileron control at lower speed... I guess its just that the tip of the wing is the bit you most noticeably spot heading speedily groundwards into the resulting spin! This phenomenon is the cause of the largest number of accidents in general aviation, as it most often happens on the turn from base leg to final when landing, so there isn't enough height to recover - when training to fly gliders it is drummed in to students that final approach speed is sufficient to be well over stall speed, even allowing for different wind conditions, to help prolong your life! It is true that warbirds having a much higher wing loading and, made worse by the propeller rotation, do tend to stall easily and aysmmetrically at slower speed. The F4U Corsair, for instance, has a triangular wedge shaped spoiler on the starboard wing to mitigate the effect. Anyway, good luck guys!

Nate : just put a little gray tape on the wing tips. I had the P51 Arrows. Total disappointment in its servos and tail wheel steering. Plus so under powered. I tossed it. Maybe I grab this one some day . Looks nice with good quality electronics.

I have the 750mm "moonbeam mcswine " that is offered by hobbyking and banana hobby and of course Amazon. It's a 3s plane. I havent flown a P51 radio model, but have flown the full size P51. The full size P51 is quite a hand full to fly , It demands very good pilot skills, but especially pilots who can handle high speed stalling. Remembering the aircraft weighs 5 ton.The P51 Is a great aeroplane to fly.One would feel very comfortable in a Dog Flight in one.Take-off and landings quite basic providing you dont aks to much of the aircraft.I knew a pilot who flew one in the Koran war and said he had the Russians on the runy very quickly, if you get the P51 working for you. Lanidng and take-off are tricky. YOU HAVE TO GET THEM RIGHT!!!!ALL THE TIME> GOOD luck!!!

after watching the new video, I had to come revisit this one and next will look into the 1.5m as well.... between the 1.2m and 1.5m, which do you think is a better overall airplane and package...flying characteristics, electronics and features, looks, landing gear quality, etc...? I'm gonna have to do some saving for either one, so will definitely have a bit of time to research more. If there is another P-51 that you think I should consider please let me know... I'm hoping to maybe get a new transmitter this winter and a new airplane or two and get back to flying next spring after a few years without flying my planes at all... cheers!

It would have been very ironic if they had not put a steerable tail wheel on this Mustang, since they put one on the UMX Voodoo Mustang. I think about the only complaint I would have with this one, is that the silver and blue isn't the most stand-out color scheme in the sky. Other than that, it does look like a very nice flying model.

I make myself get out and fly. Sometimes it’s hard, to plan ahead charging the batteries, loading the car etc… Let me make a suggestion if you don’t mind! Make RC a part of your life. Either plan to fly before or after work (if you do work) on your way home or your drive there. Find a small plane like the Eratix that doesn’t need a lot of space to fly and you can keep in the trunk of your car. Then, leave fifteen minutes earlier than you normally do on your way to work and stop to fly one or maybe two batteries! I guarantee it’ll make your life better and leave you looking forward to that morning or evening flight. Trust me, the world can wait on you to enjoy the highlight of your day. You deserve it brother! Happy Flying 😁😎⚓️
