I been in my church for 47 years. Jesus told Nicodemus that ruler of the Jews in John 3:3 unless a man be born again he cannot see the kingdom of God. July 16, 2003 in Summit Mississippi I was looking up to see the bottom in life and I got born again! He saved a wretch like me!! I have peace that passes all understanding! I love King Jesus! I will be with him for eternity!!!!!!!!

Your statement is wonderful; but lacking. No disrespect. The word "God" is generic. It doesn't tell WHO He is. For even the muslims, hindus and buddhists have a "god". However, that God is NOT "JESUS". Jesus is the ONLY True God. In fact, even atheists have a "god". They don't amid that; of course. But they do "worship" something. It is either "self" or something else. Thus: there is no difference between the "atheist" and any other "religion" that does not espouse Jesus as the True God. Why? Because, in either case, they are still denying the True God's existence. This is where Christians have let Jesus down for the past 2,000 years. They love to say "GAWD"; but rarely will they say "Jesus"; unless, perhaps, they are quoting something He said in one of the 4 accounts of the Gospel. Yet, He was the same God that spoke to Abraham. (John 8:56-58). Some would argue that since you're quoting the Bible, that alone says who you are espousing. I say: Not necessarily. Take a stand and say JESUS. No matter what! DON'T hide that Name! Thus, saying "God" is "generic" and doesn't tell the whole story. Instead of "God bless you"; we should say, "May JESUS bless you", etc. I know, I know. Most will not like this and possibly attack me. I could not care less. Jesus was crucified for speaking the Truth. And He warned us: "If the world hates, you, remember it hated Me first." That means, even most of His own "so-called" people. If they did that THEN; WHAT would they do to Him today? Huh? Thus, I shall not expect any less.

Beautiful song; but, it only tells a small part of the bigger picture. Saying there is a "God" is fine; but, if you don't have Jesus; then you are no different than the atheist who says, "There is no God". Because, in either case, you are denying the TRUE Gods existence. This is why I call ALL non-believers atheists; regardless of their proclaimed "religion". JESUS is indeed the only TRUE God. Thus, all other "gods" are spawned by "satan". Even the "atheists" have a "god".
