is so hard to move when a spots producing. i just turned up gold in a new river and gained permission but ive been neglecting it constantly returning to where you are in this video. without saying too much there's a crossing just south of you and behind that is a deep holding area, when the river is low its more accusable but you still need to get in. i had some trsures in there that made it an exciting day i just dont own equipment that to allow me to stay under the water longer. up where yo are i removed the sluice mat and run carpet and it increased my returns somewhat.

@@mancavecreations6535 I know the holding are you say and iv always thought about it. And yes it’s very deep in places. As for your new location you really must giving it more attention! At least to see if it’s any better or even just less disturbed. Good luck and heavy pans

Brilliant video, thanks. I'm about to 'bite the bullet' and order a panning set... watch this space (and my channel, obviously!)> Great to see you filling in holes and making sure all is returned to normal before you leave... following the principles of #LeaveNoTrace Thank you ;-)

Hi love the videos plez may I ask is there gold in most rivers I live in somerset
@atadventuresuk3 жыл бұрын
Hi there and thank you for watching & the question. Not all rivers carry gold it depends on the geology of the ground they cross and they are almost a highway carrying deposits of what is eroded on there way. Lots of rivers do carry gold but it can be microscopic that you can not see it with the naked eye. There are reports of gold in Somerset (small in size but it has been found) your best bet is to get landowners permission (very much like metal detecting) and get out and give it a try. Half the fun is in the hunt. Good luck & Enjoy 🤙👍🤙

Great video. I think I've been to that spot years ago. Hope the fishermen are happy. In the coarse heavies there should be some nice cassiterite with occasional wood tin that mineral collectors love.

Hi do you need a licence? I am crazy for adventure like that, but I don't know how to get the (license)?!! That is a great video make me even more into gold panning
@enslavedbrit70894 жыл бұрын
You legally need a mines royal license if you're going to sell it. There's a few hundred years old law that says the gold all belongs to the royals. The crown estate doesn't forbid you though, but neither will they give you permission. If it's private land then it's up to the land owner. It all depends on what you're going to do with your gold and if it's private land or not. But what they don't know doesn't hurt, eh? 😁 PS: no use trying to get a license, they won't give them out. Just get up there and get some!

Scotland's Gold don’t make them like me I’m winging it and still learning 😂 lol.... the big daddy can handle unclassified and showed that in vid before just what it can do only problem is when you do that is the cells catch the gold but the gold dose not stop on the thin indicator mat I have on there and I needed to know if the overburden was worth running.. and it was.... the rest of the day I was throwing buckets down it lol....

I live in plymouth where would be the closes place to me to find some gold and how would i get there??
@atadventuresuk4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your question. Can we start with how you would get there.... car, bus, bike, train, walk, Or run the choice is yours maybe even join some of the Facebook groups Iv put in to the videos and see about car sharing or finding a panning buddy.... As for your closest places to find gold that is for you to find out.! Start researching online google is an amazing wealth of knowledge, also researching and learning is all part of the hunt and enjoyment of panning. No prospector is going to just give you the spots they have found as sometimes it takes years of looking to even find a spec of gold here in the UK.. if you want a hint & clue and cut out some of the well earned info they maybe look at buying lee palmer’s book you can find him on some of the Facebook gold panning pages or direct....... good luck on your search, happy prospecting and heavy pans to you..
