Adeel Hashmi, grandson of the most celebrated poet of the subcontinent, Faiz Ahmad Faiz, calls for a revolt against the instant gratification monkey - a rebellion for change and revolution. While he reminds the youth of their responsibilities, he also warns them about the repercussions of remaining ignorant. “You’ll need to put in the hours,” he says firmly, “because technology will always fail you at two things”. Watch the video to find what these things are and how you can save yourself from falling into the invisible trap. Introducing Adeel Hashmi as our next Speaker for TEDxKinnaird 2018!
He is very well acclaimed for his comedy roles. He is an experienced speaker that focuses a lot on youth. He believes that dreaming is the first step to achieving. He comes from a well-known background and holds immense experience of what fame is like in Pakistan. He is an inspirational personality that has riveting discussions which leave you wanting to succeed. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at www.ted.com/tedx

Nice talk. Today diseases more than before many decades. Technology has many advantages but it also has a lot of disadvantages which impact humans lives. Sometimes Silence teaches us more than Words.

Emotion analytics made it's way to apps in 2013. The power of communication is a lesser known skill, and this is the reason people block their ears with headphones to communicate across the safety of a barrier that readily allows for the excuse of a "loss of network connection" to end a dialogue that crosses their "comfort zone." The "youth" that you believe can cross insurmountable barriers as they don't stop long enough to recognize these, is also the major contributor towards ai and voice recognition software that makes it unnecessary to ask someone for a cup of tea, smart technology takes care of it. End of unnecessary shared moments. And yes words are not wasted, but the art of conversation is following the skill of letter writing towards extinction.
