Dr. Abati, you have asked a great question. What is IPMAN? Why can’t anyone who has the means do the distributive trade of petroleum lifting from Dangote do that trade without the cartel of IPMAN?Please let’s drill that question to a conclusion. Therein may be this permanent problem we have not solved
@olayinkaadeleye313416 күн бұрын
IPMAN is a price fixing cartel. They can join forces and decide to boycott a producer. This is an illegal organization! Market women associations do the same in Nigeria! This needs to stop!

Rufai, please wait a day or two, and you will not hear from these liars.

IPMAN did a good job eliminating NNPC who is supposed to be a producer but wanted to become a distributor. NNPC is the real problem of the industry
@DrAdesina16 күн бұрын
There's no agreement yet, just that negotiations are on going. So I can say that the press conference is too early. IPMAN should have concluded their discussions before coming out to talk to us. We are keenly interested in getting fuel at cheaper prices and good quality.

They are yet to agree on the Price, which is the main crux of the situation between IPMAN and Dangote Refinery.. But today they have an agreement without solutions to the problem. This is naija.

I am full in support of marketers having access to buy directly from source but for the fact that IPMAN had no concrete agreement with dangote before rushing to the media for interviews shows that this just an extension of petrol politics in Nigeria. Now IPMAN has direct access they want to monopolize it. Shameful.

I have been seriously concerned about the so called cartelization... what is the use of IPMAN in a free market ? The way this man has just changed mouth from enemy of Dangote, to now saying Dangote is the best thing after sliced bread calls for serious suspicion... plus Dangote has not even come out to comment on this matter. I hope they are not trying to force dangote to pay them back channel commission through these media hype

It is 20 years and the oil refineries are not working. For all this time no Nigerian government, experts, pastors,or angels have explained why the refineries are not working. The leaders of religions should have a year of prayers for oil. This man is speaking with marbles in his mouth. Please could a reporter, the media, the elected politicians explain "what is stopping Nigeria's oil refineries from working".? All the leaders, presidents, politicians and oil cartels are responsible for sabotage of Nigeria. The refineries are fully funded and the staffing is complete. This proves there is an oil cartel. This cartel pays the refineries NOT to work. In this way they can buy oil from abroad and extort money from the government.

Rufai, please ask intelligent questions and pay attention to how your colleagues handle guest interactions on the show. You waste time by insisting that a guest say what you want to hear.
