@@williammarshall129 If YOU study a little further, you'll discover that the keys were NOT delivered to Peter, but to the apostles. For clarity sake, the KEYS are the gospel. Having said that, Peter was NOT the only one proclaiming the gospel message in Acts 2, as evidenced in verse 7 where we CAN SEE, "And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans?" The term "all these" clearly indicates that Peter was NOT the only one speaking. We see further evidence in verse 13 where we CAN SEE, "Others mocking said, These men are full of new wine." The term "these men" confirm that Peter was NOT the only one talking. If YOU study a little further, you'll discover that Peter didn't begin speaking until verse 14, where we CAN SEE, "But Peter, STANDING UP WITH THE ELEVEN, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words:" So, as you CAN SEE, ALL the apostles were proclaiming the gospel, which are the keys. Moreover, if YOU study a little further, you'll discover that God NEVER gave Peter any more credit than He did all the other apostles. We have this evidenced in Ephesians 2: 19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God; 20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; Notice verse 20, where Heaven makes special note of "the apostles AND prophets…" So, as you CAN SEE, the keys were NOT issued to Peter alone, but ALL the apostles & prophets played key roles in proclaiming the gospel, with Jesus Christ being the chief corner stone.

6153calme the phrase til Heaven and earth pass is a figure of speech to show the endurance of the Word of God. In other words Heaven(sky) and earth would pass before God's word would fail. Jesus Christ fulfilled all concerning Him Luke 24:44, therefore no need to keep the Sabbath day etc.

Why is it that you do not use Greek to interpret what the scripture says, in the trans-illiteration of the word in order to be hermeneutically correct and have consistent exegesis of Canon, with an Honest Systematic Evaluation, you must use it's original meaning. there are no disqualifying scriptures that you can use that changes it's original meaning. Petros means rock, and since Jesus was talking Peter, there is no other interpretation that can be properly determined.
