imo there are two different types of dragon levels different to what you said. there are the massive threat level dragon monsters that basically get that title by size/pure destructive capability, then there are monsters i'd say are "above threat level dragon", basically ones that are near human size but are still given dragon/cadre status due to fighting capability. ofc they're canonically scaled inconsistently so it's always up to interpretation, but i think most the cadres are above dragon, while others like vaccine man and most the massive guys can be seen as lower dragon due to destructive capability and size.

Nah, the power levels are just exponential, so the difference between the weakest wolf and strongest wolf is tiny compared to the weakest demon and the strongest demon, and that’s small compared to the weakest dragon and strongest dragon, and that’s nothing compared to the weakest god and strongest god. A being that can wipe away the surface of earth would be god level, but that would be nothing compared to a being that can wipe out a multiverse in a single attack, as that would still satisfy the definition of god level, a threat to humanity Matchups are also an important factor that people neglect way too much

Well, Gyro Gyro thinks of match up. I can't think of any writer making their story the way power scalers want to do things. Think of it this way Goku got beat by a guy with a laser gun. With scaler logic it would put that gun at minimum planet busting because while he's tired that doesn't diminish the durability feats Goku had at that point. You have to look at it in context. Royal Ripper would struggle vs humans he can't reach our has better weapons. Garou is hand to hand. He's pretty much the only good match up for Royal Ripper at that power level. Where Elder Centipede is a tank. So making him a higher threat level than Royal Ripper makes sense. It also doesn't mean he's faster or can kill someone like Garou easier. He's mainly just a tank. That alone makes him more versatile since he is seemingly immortal. Big body and a tank can kill more people before he's put down. Also threat level is just that. It's not a power level. It's how many humans can you kill. Not how well are you at dueling.

Bad example with Goku. The laser gun event in Resurrection F was dogshit writing in the first place. The only possible explanation for that being possible is that Goku's aura was down, which would mean the laser gun doesn't have any feats because Goku without aura doesn't have that significant of durability.

You can't use scaling logic for a vast majority of stories yet it's sooo damn huge. Massive communities that go off scaling logic when I made it a point where context matters. Gyro Gyro absolutely thinks of matchups such as Atomic Samurai vs Black Sperm or Elder Centipede must avoid Blast, Tatsumaki, and Metal Knight. Then I finish off saying threat level is NOT equal to power level. There's countless Dragon Ball examples if that one doesn't suit you. Including when Goku beat Raditz and when it was clear on power level Raditz was 10x stronger and Goku even said "Strength isn't everything in a fight." That's the whole damn point of Ultra Instinct as well. He isn't much stronger, he's insanely efficient.

I assume by scaling logic you just mean A to B powerscaling, which is not the only logic scalers use, it's just a significant part of matchups as it is in the shows. In DBZ Goku and Piccolo managed to win *despite* there being a strength gap. The A to B aspect of the fight was still extremely important in determining how it went, stronger characters have a better chance of winning than weaker characters. UI Goku is another bad example because it blatantly makes him far stronger in physical stats. Goku's attack power and durability are massively stronger whenever he goes into UI. In the ToP he goes from being almost pushed off the arena from Jirens energy, to being able to catch it in one hand when he unlocks MUI. In the Moro arc he goes from being weaker than Moro to being so much stronger that when Moro tries to punch him completely unprotected he breaks his own hand. That's not just efficiency, that's an enormous stat boost.

The hero association calls Dragon level threat is anything that threaten multiple cities or regions like it can be low or high, the Gyro Gyro estimates based on how much of their destructive potency. Still As Match-ups as for disaster level dragon requires multiple S-class heroes to keep it busy and Gyro Gyro's perspective is more towards considering the known stats and match-ups. That threat level applies to many regions or multiple cities is a dragon, and you can think that a monster who is relative to boros is threatening a huge chunk of the country(who is as threat to 8-25 relative region or more). Atomic samurai and his 3 disciples are being training to raise their stats and practice their, samurai katana, abilities, honing skills and we haven't hear anything from them after that apple cutting test. Iaian is the one wearing armor.

Feel like the text boxes are supposed to be universal, even betwixt factions. Other comments agree, and I think it is just a range of Dragons, as well as heroes varying based on the target. I imagine we shall all agree that Flashy Flash is Dragon-level, can fight Dragon monsters, yet he did not exactly do all too well against the Demon Hundred-Eyes Octopus. Possible the Centipedes are a similarly bad match for Metal Bat, for example. In relation to Gyoro Gyoro, I think she is just gaslighting the underlings on what a Dragon means. Cadre-level is essentially slightly higher than the actual baseline for Dragon. It is possible Evil Eye was Dragon-level but not Cadre-level, for example (given his ??? rating). 2:31 Separate hypothesis for this one. It is known grouped of monsters can be determined as a threat together. The Three Crows for example. It is also noted that Melzargard is stronger when all of the heads are together as one, which he never actually fought in. Ergo, I posit that they are Demons individually, but in peak form, they are Dragon instead, but they never fought the S-class at that level. Gums might have other attributes that place him at Dragon-level such as his digestive abilities, instead of his bite-force. Obviously strength is not a one-size fits all approach for rankings given the espers and other indirect types.

I just realized that this also means Genos became almost 2 one shot tiers above DSK who is already a pretty strong demon (Since there are also many low demons like Long Hair and Pureblood) Genos is comparable to a Garou that stronger than the Garou who is comparable to base metal bat who is comparable to base Kabuto who two shot VHS Genos who two shot DSK And then on top of that untransformed Bug God is stronger than a stronger Garou than the one that fought Genos So basically a high demon is 2 or maybe even 3 one shot tiers above a mid demon

It's because his fighting spirit allow's him to fight way powerful characters compared to him. The Mini Black S literally made him bleed, and then he was able one-shot them with ease. Base Metal Bat should be around Demon level threat at best, but he could get stronger at any level (It's not fixed) if he fought way Stronger opponents

While SCP-169 is a sea leviathan the size of a continent that moves across the ocean while sleeping. One single slight stirr of movement from it's body mass is enough to cause very large earthquakes and tsunamis by accident.

Gyro gyro is also a strategist, there’s a chance that royal ripper is not controllable as it was stated. And therefore he does not qualify for a cadre level position. You could also argue that Phoenix mans potential could be sensed by gyro gyro, since she can sense mine and orochi’s. So she knew he was a dragon level, but perhaps he hasn’t proven himself to the monster association yet so he can’t be a cadre. Much like how awakened cockroach failed to prove himself and was eaten even though he could have taken out certain s class heroes and made a fool of genos if not for his glue. So there seems to be nuance to who can be a cadre and by extension a dragon, and it’s not just about raw power, or even ability to kill S class heroes. Edit: not to mention that the hero association does gambling and they have been shown to falsify threat levels so we can’t trust threat levels due to that aspect. And just general inconsistency and corruption from the hero association.

I don't really buy certain claims like it being able to kill Melzargard when both him and Geryuganshoop were confident in beating Saitama and were surprised any Earthlings could give Melzargard a hard time, when Saitama prior to both those instances damaged 23% of the ship already.

It depends on the matchups. Kabuto in carnage mode would be above Golden S in stats, and pretty much would body all the demon level threats and some cadres in the Monster Association. Beefcake would be above other cadres, like, Gums, Ugly, Nyan, and Golden S in stats. Like I said, it depends on the matchups. Just picture it.

TBH, Gums took Bang's attack and a direct Incineration from Genos at the same time. so he's probably way tougher than any Demon level threat. But his weakness is people with powerful brute strength. Also, I think he has so much potential to be considered as Dragon level threat, like Evil Natural Water is kinda weak at the start. But he can get way powerful by absorbing any types of liquid
