This was both groundbreaking and really simple, which I love. Frontiers modding isn't super old by any means, but I remember hopping on GB day 1 to see what awesome things had been created already. Since then, it's been a treat to see the first truly great Sonic game in years get all of this love. That ending bit with the thumbnails in particular hit different.

When people ask me "Why do you like Sonic? It isn't that good and the community is trash." I always say the same two answers: 1- I like the character and how it represents freedom and I love the fast gameplay of the games. 2- Yeah, the community is trash. But not everybody. Thank you so much! I'm fairly disappointed with the console versions. I usually get Switch when I collect physical games but I opted for PS4 and the framerate is still pretty bad... Glad it's worth making my PC chug though.

I love how you show off these incredible mods made by the community. I don't have frontiers on PC but with the amount of stuff people have done with it, I'd actually would just love to play through it with the coolest mods installed. This is probably one of the sweetest things the community has created, and I love it. Remember that today's modders could be tomorrow's devs 😉👍

Honestly, I owe alot to the sonic modders/fan game devs. They're responsible for one of my most favorite indie game series, Freedom Planet. That game was there for me in probably one of my roughest times when growing up. So yeah, these folks are somethin special, and deserve what they get for their hard work. :)

It's Sonic's birthday but the Frontiers modders get the present alongside him As I wished in the 23rd, Happy Birthday Sonic! For many more cool years to come, with a series that managed to stay strong on its highs and lows, managed to capture so many people's hearts with its characters, stories and games, and for the comunnity that even at its lowest lows, still has some really nice and creative people who love to share their passion for this series! And that's not only limited to the Frontiers modding community, but the amazing creators making Mods for other games, Rom Hacks, Fan Games, Fan Comics, Fan Animations, Fan Arts, or even just the fans who love to share their love for this series and what they like about it, seeing people, enjoy the games, even when it's a small amount who likes the ones that are unliked by many, that's just so cool, this series has been stuck with me for 10 years and was a starting point for many people I'm sure, artists, writters, designers, coders, programmers, all were born inside of those people because of this silly blue rat
