Good job in getting all that gold I agree with you about the quiet peace nobody around no noise no traffic cuz I hike into a spot here in Arizona that when the waterfall dries up there's a big pool water and right where the waterfall is there's gold and it's far away from everybody there's not even a trail that goes to it so yeah peace and quiet love your videos love your dog too looking down at the camera I took a steel shot of that for my screensaver in my computer love that dog you guys keep up the good work keep on panning

@@gadzee506 oi, I’m a duffer! Forgot below the equator there. Well there’s always the circulating warm water heat exchange suits, but you guys can’t dredge so no need to go that route. Besides most of the streams I’ve seen on your episodes don’t seem deep. Am I babbling? I think I’m babbling.
@gadzee5062 жыл бұрын
@@MadMarlin1964 we have another la Nina 3rd in a row so it's way more rainy and cold than a normal spring. It pushes the creeks way up and they take ages to drop. Most the streams aren't that deep reedy creek is in parts but it's not ideal to snipe in. Babble away :)

Super useful video Chris - thanks! I do the 'dip and lift' method intuitively as my home-made pan has little riffles. Before I started prospecting I practiced in my local stream, and that's what worked best.

You need to put a super magnet on that metal pan. Let it hold the black sand back while you're swirling the sand around.

It's tin, non magnetic black sand.

The old steel pans are much better for holding fine gold . The rusty surface tend to trap and hold fine gold .
