Do your locs ever feel heavy for your neck? I'm wondering because I had neck pain but loved locs

I’ve been trying to figure out if that has been my problem recently bc my neck has been bothering me lately. 🤔 My locs definitely feel heavy when I wash them but I’m noticing they are too heavy for ponytails and buns too. I’m going to try to hold off on cutting it but I like them the length that they are.
